Subject: What happened to the good ol' days of bungie.net?

Hey look! a...a...Oh Shi-

You know, when every friday i'd look forward to another weekly update, and if there wasn't something interesting happening you could always look at the comm chatter?

Now every time I come here, I just see the giant Bungie mobile app staring me in the face. Not to mention every time I look at the comm chatter, only to find the same old "More Crimson: Steam Pirates Reviews" in dismay. Why can't we can't we have those gold ol' days back?

I'm trying to become an '04, but it's not working too well."

The Gool O'l Days were back in '04. ;)

Bungie is dark, developing their next phenomenon.

Good ol' days you say? It's a cycle, it's always a cycle. Things are as they always have been, just on the down slope. Information will come. I'd imagine premature statements create unwanted and unintended consiquences for the developement team.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

This place used to have good ol' days?
I thought it was always this bad.

When the game is over, the king and pawn go into the same box

The only constant is change. Hopefully, in time we'll be able to get a glimpse of what they are up to.

I too am looking very much forward to Bungie interacting more frequently in an official capacity with their community. You can't blame them for wanting to do their best work without thousands of people looking over their shoulder.

Halo is gone and so are a bunch of the members from that season of Bungie's history. Now only the studio fans are around.

*throws two cents*

Key

I never ever ever ever see threads about crimson. You're obviously looking in the Crimson Forum. Also, they can't update us on anything if they aren't releasing info.

The only claims you made seem to amount to and equate to the following:

1. You're complaining about the sky being blue.

2. You're complaining about the sky being green.

Bungie is in deep slumber and will return when the time is right.

Bungie has been dark for quite sometime. It will return as soon as Bungie announces their new project and we get the hype back :)

I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

Everyone has gone dark. Things will be back to "normal" whenever the new IP is announced/released. Until then, things will probably stay all depressing. :/

These are the good days.

You just have to look in the right places.

Like over there, in that dark alleyway.

where nobody could possibly witness the effects of blunt force head trauma.
