Why bother trying to be any good in Halo Reach?

I mean, I go 25/5 for a +20 K/D, and get 1,300cr, no challenges and only +300cr from the slots, and yet I start another match and put the controller down after just 3 kills to go to the restroom, come back and get another 3 kills before the game ends and see that we got massacred, with me going 6/12 for a -6 K/D, only getting another 300cr from the slots and no challenges and I get 1,500cr.

I'm sorry... I don't understand. Are you telling me I can just start a match, and put the controller down and rank up faster than when I actually try to do well? Even if that's not what you're trying to tell me... that is what happens.

This also explains me seeing players with amazing rankings, far above mine and then play with them only to witness them being excited over how they, "Did so awesome!" with 13 kills and positive 3 K/D. Really?

Remember, in Halo 3, how you were paired in matches according to your rank and when you lost games, you'd lose experience? Yeah... that was nice, where'd that go?

Anyways, thanks for letting me rant and thanks again to anyone and everyone who doesn't troll me and actually gives me a logical, or even factual answer. I'd really love to know, especially since, through the years, every time I've e-mailed Bungie in regards to searching for some facts, they never reply to me. I understand they're busy and I'm just 1 person, but after years and several e-mails, you'd expect something.

Thanks everyone.

Stupid ass washing machine...

Wrong forum my friend - the Bungie Universe forum is for talking about story, canon etc. Also, this forum isn't incredibly active at the moment due to the little information on Halo 4, so why post here anyway?

If you want to get into a seven-hour argument with a bunch of fools I suggest you post this in the Halo Reach forum here on B.net. If you actually want to get a response from somebody with the power to change things, take this to the Reach forum on Halo Waypoint (343's website).

Did you not read that little box above when you posted your topic?
