What? Play a game? FOR FUN???
This concept of fun confuses and infuriates me!

Mine was 9 at one point, but I have it on 8 now.
Its easyer to aim the sniper for me.

Mine is one. But now I use the mouse to set sensetivity. 1000dpi for driving and gunning, 750 for normal combat and 500 for sniping.

Some people have it on in the low numbers, and I don't know how they can aim with those sensivities.

I have it on 4, I could aim perfectly fine with it

I have mine 3 settings on the fly. First setting is 500 dpi, second is 800 dpi, and the third (which I use the most) is 950 dpi.

Advice, get a good gaming mouse. It's worth it.

Peace.

The default one is good enough for me. On the higher settings I'd probably start to feel sick....

I have it on 2 all the time, and I'm just using an optical mouse without those fancy selectable dpi's.

Does the mouse sensitivity setting in Halo override the settings in mouse software like this, or does it get applied on top of the system level settings?

If it works on top of the system settings, comparing our Halo settings is a bit misleading.

If the system settings persist in the game, I'll have to try the acceleration control. Make it very fast for big moves and slow for small.

I use 1. my mouse is ultra-fast anyways. Never buy a Kensington mouse.

I use Microsoft's Laser Mouse 6000. I used to have my sensitivity on 5 but when I got this mouse it was just way too fast for me so I had to bring it down to 3 or 1.

I have the mouse settings in Halo set as low as possible. I use the settings that came with my mouse software.

I don't have a kensington mouse. It's a trackball. I wouldn't play Halo without it.

What's wrong with Kensington?

Although I see the advantages of such high sensitivities like 8-10 I don't use them mainly because I get so dizzy.

I don't know?

I don't care?

I can play pretty well, whatever the setting is?

I can tell you that on H1 Xbox, my sensitivity is set to 8, and on H2, my sensitivity is only 6?

Well that could be becasue the orginal xbox controller way back from 2001 was replaced with a better model in the later years, so maybe the new standard controller was improved so the sensivity was lowered.

I know halo has a mouse acceleration setting that can only be changed using console, so I would imagine that it overrides 3rd party driver settings.
