Okay, maybe how I worded it was a bit too emphasized, it seems. I meant something along the lines of, "Hmmm, got banned, wonder why." *conversation with Ninja* "Okay, now I know and understand what to do in future."

I, personally, think a warning is easier to shrug off and is simply what it is. A ban, however, makes me feel I have done something wrong and rightfully should be punished.
You're a sad individual if you feel real shame at having been banned from a forum, especially one as poorly moderated as this.
Bans are doled out at a whim. There's really little point interacting with moderators about their decisions when they themselves haven't a clue why they've made them.
