So, feeling nostalgic, I went and explored an old site I haven't been to in ages. I'm going to post the first things I read on this site, for anyone who hasn't been here before. Keep in mind Cryptum fans, this stuff was written long before Cryptum, and is just speculation, not meant to be taken in a cannon sense.

I urge you folks to go digging around here, these people were very good at picking apart the Haloverse.

Here ya go, enjoy the reading.

I agree...
" the Gravemind that Mendicant aided was one-in-the-same with the Gravemind who would now return to the Ark."
This now again reminded me of the epicness of halo.
Thank you even thought i knew it already i liked reading that.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

I don't understand the point of this thread... Cryptum and the Terminals in Halo 3 are directly related to one-another, why are you saying they shouldn't be taken as canonical?

I know that, it's just a warning to the more "sensitive" people that prowl Bungie.net. Knowing the people out there, someone would likely find something to start a flame war over, even though what you stated up above is true.

And the whole point of this thread was about these fine folks in the link. They were masters of piecing together things from Halo's story and they put them together into something enjoyable to read. For the longest time these folks were the only good, credible source of info on Forunners and Halo's hidden story, along with countless other stuff they wrote about.

Just paying my respects to them.

Well, they did a good job at piecing the terminals together along with the Iris stuff and making it organized for everyone to more easily grasp it. Bungie even stated that they pretty much hit the nail on the head with most of their interpretation of the terminals. I believe the two gentlemen who started the site are now working at 343.

That's were they ended up at, yes. I think one is the narrator of many of waypoints videos.

But still, I miss that site.
