hide under the tables kids! ima drop some knowlege!
well. clearly the elite flood models is not done. how?
cause they are all white like the elites was on the early traylers, they has the combat shoulders from h3 and I think they are filler models or starting point models.Come to think of it, in Halo PC, if played on a computer that can't support it, all the Covies would have white armor particularly the Elites.
But if it is indeed final, then it's not consistent. What happened to the armor color distinction in Halo 3?!! And why not use Elite minor blue like in Halo 2? All the brute combat forms in Halo 3 were based on minor rank.Halo 3 still had different colours of Elites. You just only saw Blue and Red, red less frequently. Kind of like how you never see a golden Zealot when playing as the chief but never see a red Major as the Arbiter in Halo 2.
Reach is what screwed this whole thing up. They had a good system and decided to -blam!- themselves over. That's not exactly what I meant. Take a look for yourself. Actually, red was quite frequent on higher difficulties. The golden Zealot when playing as Chief is also the same. But the rarity of Elite majors during the Arbiter campaign is unusual. They never spawn on Uprising. On Great Journey, only the Banshee pilots might turn out to be majors.
I agree. What made Brute Chieftains and War Chieftains tolerable was because they are chieftains of the pack. Elite minors, majors, and ultras are regulars. Their only distinction should be shield differences and weapon usage (although I do like the Ultra Elites having distinctive helmets).
