Okay lets look at it this way the Spartan IV are being considered an assembly line.

I believe it is not, but is going to look like a spec ops. Where there will be few people accepted. Yes people will have to give consent of joining but that does not mean everyone is going to be one. Why?

Because the recruitment process will be very vigorous and not many will become Spartan IV. The recruitment will go something like this:

1.ONI will look among their forces and find the best soldiers from all groups that stick out to them.[1]
2. They ask them if they want to be Spartan IV. If they say yes get them to sign a consent form and then...
3. Vigorous check ups and test mainly physiological and psychological, like a medical check up.
4. If they pass then send them through a training test and see who gets to go through.
5. If anyone stays then have them to go through the real test where they shall be place in situation where they must succeed all objectives. (all people conducting it will try their best to have them fail and they must show that they can succeed it.)[2]
6.You now go through augmentation and anything else necessary and are now a Spartan.

[1] Most of these chosen people would be mainly ODST's or people who show great
competence in military training.
[2] Succeeding or passing this part does not mean you need to succeed and finish
mission, you just need to show you are worth it. For example you may be very
good at working in a team, or really good at getting the job done even if
you do not have the equipment necessary etc.

My questions still remain.

1. Who is funding it?
2. Why are the 300 other Gamma Company S-IIIs getting the cold shoulder?
3. Has medical technology even gotten to the point post-puberty augmentations are safe?

Show Faith/Defy Fate

Im assuming youre referring to something in the new book. If I am correct, would you mind changing the title to something that DOESNT give away anything? If I am wrong, i do apologize.

1. Who is funding it
Ans. Only possible answers are ONI and some private companies
remember companies will do anything to make technology
that will profit them.

2. Why are the 300 other Gamma Company S-IIIs getting the cold
shoulder?
A. Maybe they are not, maybe they will be upgraded but the new
S-IV project will take a little longer, plus the S-IIIs
would not be thrown away, they are an important asset. Also
no one knows the true number of Spartan IIIs still alive, we
could have less than that due to some dying behind the lines

Remember they are unaccounted for so no one knows what
happened to them. So we can not have an answer on them.

3. Has medical Tech gotten to the point post-puberty
augmentations are safe.
A. Maybe they are remember the S-IIIs had a zero mortality rate
Plus maybe some of the new recruits would not have the
change that the S-IIs had their reflexes may be better and
maybe strengthened a little bit more but they would maybe
not look like the S-IIs or S-IIIs

4. How many is the program going to allow at a time?
A. If the modern spec ops is to be looked at then maybe 50 or a
100 in total at any one time will be there. More likely 5
to 6 in the beginning but when it is up to speed maybe by
2 or 1 and sometimes 0. Overall with the Mark 7 armor most
likely less than 10 but by the end of a couple years a 100
may be in circulation.

5. Is everybody going to be getting mark 7?
A. From what we have seen most likely not. A rare few will
get that and that will be with people who have given the
allowance to. Most likely there will be 7 prototypes but by
years end or maybe a couple years later a 100 may be
available.

6. Why an expensive program than upgrade the military force
to S-III all around?
A. They are not upgrading the whole army but most likely very
few people so they will be in minority.

7. What will the objective be? Innes? Starting a retarted war
with the elites?
A. Well it could be for prototype and experimental reasons so
that one's its cheap enough they can upgrade the army to
some what of a more better armor that is not going to be
like the Mk 4 or Mk 5 but something that can somewhat rival
it. Also for having a better secret weapon that no one will
know.

Hell humanity may have to fight some stupid aliens who are
going to do what the innes did and fight back and they will
be needed. A leverage in negotiation. No one wants a Spartan
chasing them even aliens, they will run for their lives.
Only a few can rival them.

Innes because it is very effective and has low mortality
rate and so having to waste little soldiers and still get
the job done.

is this going to be in a book? cuz if it is...-blam!- that! you have to start spartans when there kids cuz of all the training.

Where are the funds to do so? The resources? And instead of putting these funds towards reconstruction, they are put in for an unnecessary Spartan program.

2. Why are the 300 other Gamma Company S-IIIs getting the cold

They were deployed shortly before Halo 2 if I recall. Either way 343 needs to elaborate on them.

The S-IIIs were still augmented before puberty, as were the S-IIs.

Mainly what i meant was that instead of spending time with the augmentation and using money they just gave the S-IIIs the armor. Its easy and cheaper than making new ones

Still the question is when does the project really take off when does the prototype and experiments really end and when do they have the research to get normal people into it.

They may have a group being augmented and tested while S-IIIs battle testing it in other places as they do not have to check medical problems and they are more reliable, at least they will not die on them.

But where are the finds to give possibly 300 S-IIIs things like MJOLNIR?

Who knows maybe they said f cash lets start doing things like the communists.

Nothing is known yet but there should be funds coming in maybe the darn Kig-Yar are trading with them also, there may be a new conversion rates as alien currency could be addded an humans being more adaptable with more resources are able to sell their things and have a monopoly over the trades with alien species.

Like giving a slipspace drive to the Kig-Yars and getting a whole bunch of forerunner tech remember the Kig-Yars in Cole Protocol were desperate for Slipspace tech that was kept away from them and the brutes during that age.

The Kig-Yar are pirates, you don't give things to pirates. As for saying forget money, you still have to find resources.

Which are everywhere now as most of the population is gone and you do not need to spread the resources over huge planets except the now few. Plus not all planets that lost human life or were glassed were truly glassed. These places were emptied out and most died.

These planets may still have their resource untouched so they could mine them and maybe steal some scarabs or use some that were left after the battle on earth as there were many and you could find some deserted ones and start using them.

And on the Kig Yar they are not the only race there are other and in Cole Protocol they are shown to trade even if it was for an evil reason. Still humanity will find a way. Remember after the war there is alot of treasure left under the pile of rubble.

Also there could be battles where they get Covenant tech that is still intact that we have not seen and use them for gaining resources. Also recycling war material that is not needed and stupid little structure. Also when clearing destroyed zones you could tear them down and using the material for something new.

Enough resources to make a lot of MJOLNIR suits that have state-of-the-art nanotechnology? Really?

  • 10.28.2011 9:23 PM PDT

yas334229812

Forerunner Artifacts are the other option they could have got them from, maybe they sell these to the religious zealots for huge amount of resources.

Well yes you are right.
And i may be beating a dead horse.
I have no support so all i do is create rational explanations and where i do not have any i may start making explanations that are useless and have no basis.
Maybe we might have to see what they have in store for explaining this.

They're many, many things. I think the best way to describe Jackals would be as opportunists. If it gets them cash or what they want, they'll do it, that means they can be pirates, smugglers, legitimate traders, mercenaries, like I said, they'll do whatever nets them a gain. They're not strictly pirates and only pirates...
