We are determined that before the sun sets on this terrible struggle our flag will be recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom on the one hand and of overwhelming force on the other.

The corvette models used by the Covenant for things like ground assaults and light orbital space combat - I have a question about them.

It is stated several times that these models lack slip-space drives. Slip Space drives are basically everything when it comes to interstellar travel. So when these ships were deployed to different planets and systems, how did they get there?

I was under the assumption that they basically attached themselves to CSO-class' or were stored in their massive cargo bays.

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

They were probably stored or latched to other ships, we do know that the Long Night of Solace had at least 4 of them latched/placed on it's cargo bay so it is plausible enough.

The Long Night of Solace is a ship 27km in length, the largest Covenant ship ever created, only a few were made and this is the only time we actually get to see one. When the Corvette Jorge was in made it to the LNOS, it was just a spec compared to the massive carrier, I'm sure they either had bay's or latches to hold them.

I figured that - How many do you think a CSO-class could carry?

Easily 10, Corvettes are about as big as Frigates right? The Forward Unto Dawn easily fit in the Shadow of Intent, leaving lots of space, possibly for one or two more of them. Now, considering how the Super Carrier is what, 5 times bigger? It would be at least 5, not to mention Covenant ships have several cargo bays.

If you can read this, that means I'm not a Shaolin monk...

Well, the Shipmaster's carrier had no problem with the Forward Unto Dawn...

And THAT wasn't even a Super Carrier, the Shadow of Intent is an Assault Carrier, not a Super Carrier. 5,346 meters is nothing on 27,000 meters.

So its safe to say a CSO-class could bring with it upwards of 30 of them?

About twice as long and twice as wide.

Now, considering how the Super Carrier is what, 5 times bigger

5 times bigger in every dimension, which means it can hold 125 times as much stuff.

I'd say the supercarrier's hanger bays could easily store them.

The CSO-class is about 17 miles long.

SDV-class (Corvettes): 3140 Feet = 0.59471 Miles

17 miles of ship could hold a ton of ships measuring at about 0.59471m
