I don't like the fact there is no "strike-through" text

Yeah, I've been thinking that too.

  • 10.31.2011 7:17 PM PDT

Also, we need something to fix that goddamn "this text contains characters that are not allowed" thing. I know there are other tools we could use, but why can't we have them here?

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

You guys can't strikethrough? I can [s]Can't you guys?[/s]
Y'all don't see that?

I don't like the background, needs moar pink!

Yeah, I've been thinking that too.

Strikethrough text would be most amusing.

I really dislike not having a way to immediately warp to any employee and/or mod post in threads. Really they are the most funny. Also, their text colors break the dreary monotony this sight has. I know Halo is a serious game, but the site is so sad looking. I think it needs MOAR COLORS.

Also, my smiley needs some official support because it's a pain in my neighbors laundromat to type it. :)

I didn't say what you said was implausible or outlandish (still referring to your "Blame Kotick" post). I said it was wrong. I have no interest in engaging you in a debate about your feelings toward Activision.

I invite you, again, to show that anything I've said or implied is implausible-or even outlandish. This will involve more than stating your belief that I'm mistaken.

If you're unwilling to do this, I'm happy to bring our conversation to a close.

But I didn't claim that.

The lack of info about a new game.

Blame Kotick.

I don't like the visual style of the forums. Though I hypothesise everything will be overhauled with the release of Bungie's next game, whenever that is.

How much could they possibly change, though?

It isn't that I wouldn't like a radical overhaul- on the contrary- but I feel like the visual style is more or less going to stay the same in terms of architecture and color scheme.

It's basically a verbal smoke grenade.

If you know you're wrong, you use overly complicated language and statements like this:

to make the point you were making originally unclear and harder to argue against. It's the same thing as trying to say "Guys, I was joking!"

I give your post a 3/10.

We could, but I'm unsure why we'd want to engage in fantasy rather than with reality. It may very well be that your publisher has no involvement whatsoever in the timing of the announcement of your current project, nor in its marketing. I'd sooner believe it's a case of dia tolma pros ta astra...meta tou arguriou.

How much did Kotick pay you to say that?

I'm assuming it's an Activision higher up or something? Idk. Someone explain this to me. Let's not be on last name bases with people we don't know. Makes conversation confusing for others.

That statement isn't overcomplicated and the language used is just fine...?

I'm not sure what his original point was (I'm not searching the thread for something so trivial), but by the statement you quoted I could respond just fine.

Bobby Kotick is Activision's overly honest CEO.

Some people think he's evil, because he makes us pay money for our games.

Bobby Kotick. President and CEO of Activision. Bungie's new publisher. The argument revolves around Heli asserting that Activision won't let Bungie announce anything, and Tom saying he has nothing to do with it.

Cheers. Another question though, (directed towards the general forumgoing public and not specifically you), when was it announced that Acti was publishing Bungie's new game? I was under the impression they were just in a joint venture in making the game (sharing resources, production cost, and human resources on exchange for some level of profit sharing). Never did I hear, though, that Acti has become the new monster bearing over Bungie's head (however more tame this monster may be from the last).

OT: I don't like the banner for the community forum. It's cool and all but it seems to me like it's a bit dated. Hopefully with a new Hawtness comes a new banner.

"Acti" is just publishing the games, that's all. They put the games on shelves.
That's all they do.
It isn't a joint venture by definition- they aren't forming a new company together.

You didn't hear of any "monster bearing" because that doesn't exist.

I have a script which gets rid of extended characters.

Actually, no. The final version of the forums was released and they are actually really good. Better than Bungie's even. That with the entire Halo waypoint website updating soon, things will be amazing.
