1. needle rifle killing enemies with body shots and accurate 2. try and stay on higher floors so you can maintain accuracy and get the first shot
3. downloaqd the map to local files and study the heavy weapons and possible camping spots. hopefully this helps you out.neddles rifles FTW

NR on LAN or ZB is useless though.

Forget it man, and get with the countdown. Shake this square world and blast off for Kicksville.

Reach host ranking algorithm: (a*quit_percentage + b*isMexican + c*(1/KDR) + d*hasGuest) * 100
where a > b = d > c

You do realize MLG revolves around teamwork, right?

Heh. You're adorable.

He`s a retard. Don`t worry.

You, not so much.

MLG is complete competitive gameplay, as much as Reach can offer. Aiming is only a smaller skill. Position yourself well, learn key points on a map to hold such as:

Sanctuary - Ring, their car, their P.

Zealot - Top gold and top mid.

I'm not as good on Countdown, Element is just an organized clusterfck, so most times it just the best DMR + positioning you can find, and the Pit is just like Halo 3.

Learn weapon timings. You'll be amazed with how much of a gamebreaker getting behind your opponents spawns on Sanctuary and stealing their sniper will be.

The rest is just practice.

To answer your question though: it's because in default Reach, there's a lot of mechanics to abuse and give yourself the upper hand. MLG cut those out. It shows you how good you are at real Halo.

Do you want a chance? Are you eager to spend hours of energy memorizing layouts, timetables, and scenarios that will become obsolete within the next year? Are you dissatisfied being a solid gamer who can be a strong asset to a team instead of an MLG player who considers teamwork and social interaction "quaint?"

If you do, good luck. But I hope you count your blessings before throwing away time.
This is what I hate. It doesn't take long for some to learn these things. It's like in school: you're basically poking fun at people who are smarter and better than you are. Well I'll be a happy nerd who learned strategies in MLG really quickly, as opposed to a jealous moron like yourself.

This just blew my mind. Old info is old but I just made the connection on how to count weapon spawn. Thanks brah.

Of course! Because I choose not to devote time and brain power to the memorization of a video game, I must be jealous. Thank you for opening my eyes!

Well I'll be a happy nerd who learned strategies in MLG really quickly, as opposed to a jealous moron like yourself.

And I shall be the happy human who looks back on the day and feels satisfaction at having accomplished something.

God's speed!

Instead you devote said time to poking fun at those who are more coordinated than you and can also memorize those things faster than you. It is no different.

I'd say those pros have accomplished something. If I had fun in MLG with friends, then I have accomplished something as well. I can't help it that I can learn these things faster. I'm quite sorry, but your jealousy is simply overflowing right now.

I seem to be better than the average Halo Reach player.

Most of the people playing MLG are better than average Reachtards. There are exceptions though, as in any playlist *coughcoughKSIcoughcough*.

Play with a team. Learn the weapons and spawns on the map.

This. You're not just an individual, but a part of the team as well. Teamwork>Anything in Reach atm.

I got some reasons for you

1. most people in the MLG playlist actually play nothing but MLG so they are very familiar with the maps etc
2. the people who play this playlist are the very best in the game. They are better than arena kids and some of them even earn money playing halo
3. shooting skills come with time, but good players play smart and have very thoughtful map movement which is why they always get the first shot on you

Wow alot more responses than I expected. Thanks for all the solid advice on here. I'll try use some of the key points and get used to the adjusted settings. As pointed out my aim probably is off because of the increased speed, so I'll have to get used to that.
