if caboose aint a halo charaicter, which he is (watch rvb season9)
itll be cpl.jenkens, i think thats how its spelt

Are you referring to the satricial video where Caboose goes into the Reach campaign? You realise that that's absolutely non-canonical, right? Are you mentally deficient?

I was right, you most definitely are a mental deficient. Caboose is definitely not a canonical Halo character, until you can provide DIRECT EVIDENCE supporting your retarded claim (which i will instantly disprove), you are wrong.

  • 11.01.2011 2:39 PM PDT

UK,

did isay he was DIRECTLY involved in the events in halo saga
just that he was ditantly involved, yes you are right he is not a canonical halo character, although he has his own halo 3 easter egg, he is involved in the later events in the post war.
also, when i posted at the start of this forum, you may have liked to have read that i said the halo trilogy and side storys.

You have posted perhaps the most convoluted and garbled drivel I've ever read on this site.

Easter eggs in Halo are not canon, those Marines in Halo 3 are not the actual characters from Red vs Blue, they're just the voice actors.

How can Caboose be "involved in later events" post-Halo 3 when you've just said you know he's not a canonical character? That makes absolutely no sense. Caboose plays absolutely no part in Halo at all, you are talking absolute bullshyte.

He's not even in any of the side stories, your point is still rendered retarded.

  • 11.01.2011 2:54 PM PDT

UK,

canonical: reduced to the simplest and most significant form possible without loss of generality, e.g., "a basic story line"
caboose is in the halo universe is he not?
is it true that red vs blue a existing yet unofficial halo sidestory?
is it true that red vs blue not based after the events of halo3?
and is it not true that it is quite sad to post on fourm topics if all yer going to do is whine?

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Actually, no, Red vs Blue is not a Halo sidestory and it doesn't take place during any period of Halo. It's essentially glorified fan fiction.

Seriously, how dense are you exactly?

red vs blue is in the halo universe, its in there, yes it is fan fiction, but if you read early on, i said it was un-official, there for making it a side-story
further more red vs blue is based after the events of halo 3.

Caboose is not a Halo character...

he is ,technicaly...

He's a character in a machinima that has absolutely no relation to Halo, albeit a vague comical mention of Master Chief in episode 1. He is not a Halo character.

OT: Rtas, the Timeless One and the Didact are my favourite characters.

Bull-blam!-, The Timeless One is not your favourite character, Nobody even knows what he is yet. You don't know his allegiance, you don't know anything. Except that he poses a great threat to everyone.

You can't favourite someone off of no information!

Also, I hate the Didact. When Bear was explaining his size and build I now have this permanent stain in my head of him being similar to Marcus from Gears of War! Mind telling me what your perception of him looks like? Mine is horrible!

I agree with you on Rtas though.

The Timeless one = Gravemind is essentially what many people go by. So if that is true, which most likely it is then we have the GM to judge the TO by.

Most likely? How so? Because it's description resembles that of a flood type creature?

Er... what? I'm not allowed to like the Timeless One because we know little about him? Since when do you decide my opinion? -_-

We're already shown stark contrasts between the TO and Gravemind, given that they may be the same thing and all the possibilities surrounding this character at the head of a cosmic game he's created, why am I not allowed to say that i find the character fascinating?

I couldn't give a flying toss what you think of the Didact! I was asked my opinion, I was not asked to say what you think.

I never imagined his physical appearance under the armour, I just accepted that he was like John, his armour is his appearance - which is very much apparent in Cryptum with Forerunner culture.

As for how the Gravemind and TO are connected, I suggest you read what I posted on Greg Bear's blog...

Er... what?

Did... Did you just stutter on a keyboard?

why am I not allowed to say that i find the character fascinating?

No! You cannot favourite him/it. That's just like saying you like the taste of a drink that has no taste at all.

Yes, you are fascinated but that wasn't what the OP was asking.

I read your post, and though I am impressed with your speculation, I am in no way convinced. I have a whole different view on the topic than you. I would explain but this isn't the right place, or time. We will just have to wait and find out.

Also, "Are you in fact... a Gravemind?". Made me laugh.

I couldn't give a flying toss what you think of the Didact! I was asked my opinion, I was not asked to say what you think.

Fair enough. Also, "Flying toss", seriously?

I never imagined his physical appearance under the armour, I just accepted that he was like John, his armour is his appearance - which is very much apparent in Cryptum with forerunner culture.

No, not his facial appearance, His build and all that. I couldn't give a flying toss what you think of the Didact!. I'm gonna say it anyway. I think of him as really freaking wide and munted looking.

Good day sir!

Caboose is NOT in the halo universe. He is a character from a the popular fanmade machinima series, Red Vs Blue.
Fan fiction is NOT canon halo universe material.
cobra and aj are right ^

i know, but i do not like awj so i contiued arguing with him,

I can and have. Deal with it. :)

I see. Hopefully Primordium will shed a bit of light on the matter because there's a very grand story that's been set up around the Forerunner era.

Made me laugh too, I like how he didn't refute my post too for essentially telling him his own story. :P

Fair enough. Also, "Flying toss", seriously?

Ye be unfamiliar with the idioms of the British?

No, not his facial appearance, His build and all that.

I just imagined him the way I imagined the exterior appearance every other Forerunner, tall with a semi-muscular build. Not quite the blob of living protein that is Marcus Fenix.

I'm gonna say it anyway. I think of him as really freaking wide and munted looking.

Good day sir!

Good day to you, you get NOTHING! You LOSE! Good day, sir!
