They're too hard to manage.

I can do the Elite army on SLASO though.

Atm, charge is what I'm going with because they're so damn scary when I betray them. I may be reckless but I'm not that crazy.

Right. I'm preparing to deploy them. Cleaned the whole place up. Got my beam rifle, needler, and brute shot ready. Now I just need to move the troops to the front and get Tartarus. Then let the grenades and sword slashing begin!

Oh and 4 Hunters. :P

By the way, how did you get that many elites?

They infinitely spawn. You just need to block them. Then go to Tartarus to spawn more.

Anyways, I just finished. 5 hours, 19 minutes, 36 seconds of frustrating and boring work. 96.7 GB!!!

I got a total of 20 Councilors with swords, having brought Rtas Vadum, 2 Councilors, 2 Elite Spec Ops, and 4 Hunters with me to the control room (I also brought Sarge from the Scarab and the 2 marines but I didn't bother including them in the battle).

The following is the result of all my hard work. It didn't meet my expectations but that's because Sputnik was on. It would have been better if I had betrayed them. But the sight of them all jumping to Tartarus + 4 Hunters is a must-see!

If I learned something from this, it has to be,

Don't bother trying to make an army of Councilors.

It makes little difference because of Sputnik and because their frequency is rare (I could have gotten an army of 30-40 Elite Spec Ops and Zealots if I had wanted to).

I think it would be a better idea to get 2 Banshees and use them to block the spawning Elites and after a while, move or destroy them to allow a huge assault on Tartarus. I'll try that later. And as always, tutorial coming soon. It's too much to manage.

Just watched that video. Simply amazing! I'm not sure what you consider your success on this to be, but as a n00b to the ways of collecting AI, I was in awe.

I consider it to be 70% success. It had a lot more potential but I was lacking proper blockades (the Hunters just aren't reliable) and I had to do hell lot of cleaning (I had saved at least 20 needlers in the event that I decided to betray my allies) because the effects started disappearing (i.e. when switching to sword, there's no neat glow. Just a plain sword pull, shooting the plasma rifle makes no impact, banshee bombs looked like they went through the wall) before I could get the damn thing organized. I also made some mistakes as I mentioned in the description.

There's more where that came from, but this is not where my skill is. Grumpy and his pals do a lot better job at collections. Of course, I dominate the AI collection area in Halo 3 (except on The Storm).

I've seen grumps OS collection. Pretty impressive. But as far as Halo 3 goes, I have never seen someone manipulate "The Covenant" as good as you.

I was in 5th grade. I popped in the Halo CE disc into the massive, clunky first generation Microsoft Xbox, and wrapped my small hands around the controller that was almost too big for me. Little did I know what I was getting into.

10+ years later, I still look up to my childhood hero, Master Chief, while everyone talks about He Man and Spongebob haha

It was sad to see that the leading cause of death for the AI was jumping and just falling to their death haha, how do you get the rank of councilor through years of combat and then miss a jump?

Haha great video, I'd like to see the biggest AI collection you can do, out of the entire Halo series.
