Leaving us in complete dark is a troll move. I remember back when bungie made good games ( Pre-ODST ) i would always be anxious to see the weekly update and all the other cool posts on the home page. now there is nothing. If your next game takes 3 years to make and is anywhere close to the horridness that is Reach, You will lose the little respect i still have for you bungie.

P.S. and this Crimson game? really? only on the iPad? what the -blam!- Bungie? And i thought Bungie was better then 343.

  • 11.01.2011 1:58 PM PDT

I play for fun and armory completion. :)

Leaving the public in the dark is, believe it or not, a common practice among those in the game industry. In fact, most studios do this. I agree, I like Bungie's involvement with their fanbase, but I completely understand why they would keep details of a new game from us, it is just good business to do so.

I was a finalist :P

This is what happens when Bungie spoil us...

Calm down mate, I don't see how this anxious wait for more news is different than any other.

Bungie have only gone dark because they are working on Destiny. I'd rather Bungie continue working on their new game, than waste time writing updates (although what they would actually substantially write about beats me).

Also, Crimson was not made by Bungie. It was made by Harebrained Schemes, with help from Bungie, who published it. It has only been released on the iPad so far, but I believe it is going to be released on at least one other platform soon(ish).

They literally have nothing to talk about. A game in it's early stages of development is a chaotic mess that can drastically change from week to week. Features are added, other features are slashed, everything is rough and unfinished, it's not a pretty thing to look at. There's no benefit to them to show us anything until much later when the project is more stable and will at the very least look somewhat like the finished project.

Bungie actually likes to make their games eith alot of quality. Games can't be made in one year. Calm down. You're so ignorant. They are using everything they have to make this game. This is truly what they wanted to do but it seemed impossible so they made Halo.

That's a funny one. Reach didn't have as much quality as the other games in the series.

I understand the frustration. I would have bought Halo: CEA if it hadn't been largely based off Reach's gameplay. I'm hoping that they go back to the innovative ideas that made Halo, well Halo. I don't mind waiting.

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

I'm still mourning the loss of porky and the space squirrel.

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

Yes, yes. Lets all turn this into another "Bash-Reach-a-thon". Those are always fun aren't they? Yes Reach failed to live up to expectations, yes I find myself playing other games more than Reach these days, but does this really need to keep popping up? For -blam!- sake.

Another Reach bashing thread. Move along and report people.

Something about something else in there but I can't hear it over how mad the OP was that he didn't care for Reach.

Anniversary's gameplay is almost identical to CE's.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

EDOET was the real troll, but he changed.
