Hail to the Victors! Reppin' that MAIZE n BLUE!!!
Perfect Grenade
Chill bro. Gotta get my bowl.

Just some background: I've been playing Halo online since Halo 2 and have had a ton of fun on the way. In that time I've used/witnessed strategies and tactics of all kinds, as I'm sure you have. Now as with all games, there are going to be certain strategies deemed "exploits", in fact some may be well-known glitches. Others may simply be tactics which are useful but controversial (camping to an extent). The question is are they legit to use, or do they need to be patched? I've compiled a few in a list below. Thus controversy ensues!!

Legit or problem?

Jetpacked sniper spots on Hemorrhage...

Sniping from passenger seat of Revenant...

Unlimited/no-reload Banshee tricks...

Frame rate glitching on Wayont (thru wall via vehicle, I've only seen it once, lagged the game terribly) (similar to the Elephant/Phantom glitch from Halo 3's Sandtrap)...

Active camo camping with the sniper...

Hiding the oddball in unreachable locations...

Ability of Wraith tanks to kill a boarded enemy (without the use of an object nearby)..

Sweep sniping (yes it still exists)...

Warthog flipping (tire shots on an airborne warthog)...

Dashboarding out before a game begins...

Hiding outside of Hemorrhage...

Hiding the bomb in neutral bomb...

If you think of anything else feel free to bring it up.

it doesn't help that your face is a talking bomb too.

Well, since everything you mentioned is a legitimate part of the game, I don't have a problem with it. Blame (gasp!) Bungie for not fixing them.

Well, do you wish 343 (or wish bungie had) would fix some of them?

IMO they need more killzones on Hemorrhage, Banshee tricks need to be nerfed and the passenger seat sniping (revenant) should be patched, at least those are the major ones.

They should be patched, but it probably won't happen. 343 has bigger problems (i.e. making H4) and probably won't deal with insignificant issues such as these.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

If you can't control the Banshee, you're going to be killed by it. I don't care who you are or what your opinion on the matter is. Revenant auto-aim should be reduced greatly, not removed entirely. Hemorrhage is just a terrible map in general.

Camo sniping is just bad game design. it's pretty difficult to remove without just straight up removing invisibility. Likewise with camping. In a well-designed map that works properly with your movement/damage settings, camping should be a non-issue.

I agree that the areas that are unreachable/out of the map need to be fixed though, including places where you can drop the bomb out of the map, as those are obviously exploited glitches rather than poorly designed game mechanics. It's like rodeo running in GoW.

The entire point of the jetpack is to jump to high places to have an advantage. Sure, jetpack is stupid in competitive playlists, but in BTB giving someone a sniping height advantage is no big deal, especially since they're still visible. I've never had a serious problem dealing with a jetpack sniping spot.

The banshee definitely needs to be fixed. At the very least severely limit the number of flips, since it's impossible to shoot it down with a rocket launcher or plasma launcher.

Play it, love it, rate it.

I believe that any exploit that may allow a player to leave the map boundaries should be patched. In addition, I feel objective hiding should be fixed. It is clever; however, it completely halts the flow of the game. The Wraith issue also needs to be tended to, for the Wraith is powerful enough as it. If a Wraith is boarded, it should meet its demise. Finally, the Banshee should have a slight maneuver recharge. It is quite aggrivating whenever an enemy bombs, barrel rolls, bombs, barrel rolls, bombs, barrel rolls... Wow, this is starting to sound like Starfox.

Actually, my real problems are game mechanics. I actually would have NO problem with people scaling the walls of Hemorrhage and such as it just adds to the playfield.

My biggest concern is how often a Wraith that I boarded (specifically after EMP'ing) being able to shoot me off of it out in the open....not even using a wall, but just shooting and it hitting me =/
