We are determined that before the sun sets on this terrible struggle our flag will be recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom on the one hand and of overwhelming force on the other.

I really think this model is a beautiful, absolutely beautiful class of ship. First of all, its gorgeous. Perfectly flowing design, beautiful curves and color. Silver, purple, red, and white textures compliment them perfectly. 3 large hooks attached to the bow strike a stabbing fear into the enemy, adding to the exquisite architecture.

The power this ship brings also, amazing. Multiple energy projectors allowing for powerful ship-to-ship capabilities, planetary bombardment, and low-altitude glassing operations. Hundreds if not thousands of point defense lasers, tear through enemy armor in seconds, and plasma torpedoes to space, making this the premier of Covenant naval technology.

Don't be stupid like I was! Check to see what that Forum Ninja is saying to you!

Yup. it's an awesome ship.

Beautiful indeed, although I wish they made them bigger. Look at Shipmasters Assault Carrier Shadow of Intent it's exactly the same design as the Super Carrier, just on a MUCH smaller scale.

I like the Assault Carrier more and Mojeda, the Shipmaster is Rtas Vadum :P

I think the CCS is the best looking of the Covenant capital ships too, it looks quite functional which adds to it. Assault Carriers look amazing, but they also look like they were designed for the art not the function.

CCS ships are still utterly massive spacecraft though.

On the contrary, Assault Carriers are more fit for the function than CSS battlecruisers, in fact, they even have a mechanism to "separate" parts of the hull that are too damaged so the ship can go on without the "dead weight" and resume the fight or retreat.

That function is complete redundant though because

A) We don't even encounter let alone damage ACs too often

B) That means a LARGE part of the ship is made of redundant systems.

This is a testament to show that the covenant emulate not innovate. This tech is directly copied from the forerunners who would phase out certain parts of the ship if the flood breached it. The covenant have no true use for this.
