This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Halo 3 Equipment I guess.

it doesn't help that your face is a talking bomb too.

Equipment, cause you actually have to work to earn it (somewhat).

  • 11.01.2011 6:34 PM PDT

Equipment by a resounding margin. Anyone who says otherwise is too used to pressing the AA button to block death, run away from fights, break map control by flying around...the list goes on.

Both. But only as options for customs and no loadouts for default play.

Opinions are like butholes. Everyone's got one, nobody wants to hear about it.

AA's.

The Internet is an empowerment tool that's agnostic; it doesn't care about race, gender, or age.

Equipment was easy to play against and less frustrating than AA's.

  • 11.01.2011 6:50 PM PDT

I gotta big ego.

Agreed ^

I prefer AAs, but that probably has mostly to do with the fact that I've already played ~4x as much Halo: Reach multiplayer as I ever did Halo 3 multiplayer, even though I've only owned Reach since late July of this year.

The only loadout I really ever use is sprint, and I feel that I use it mostly to traverse the map, and return to combat and to my teammates' aid quickly, rather than to run away from combat.

I never made full use of equipment in Halo 3, and I like having an AA always available to you. To me, it feels like it gives gameplay more variety to always have players armor locking, jetpacking, sprinting, camo sniping, etc.

I know I'm not great. I know I have crap stats. This is just my opinion.

Both.

Keep all the armor abilities ( except armor lock), but also take some of the secondary abilities (and armor lock) and make them into equipment.

For example, keep the camouflage but take out the jammer and make that equipment again.

Armor lock would be considered an armor ability and a piece of equipment, if it had a limited amount of usage.

The rest of the armor abilities are fine.

Boltshot = mini shotgun

Armor abilities that you have to acquire on the map like equipment.

Anyone who claims the AR takes skill ought to shoot himself in the head. Preferably with the AR because they'll most likely miss with any other weapon.

Equipment because it wasn't off spawn, it took skill and it was a good at the moment tactical advantage that took some thought.

  • 11.01.2011 7:05 PM PDT

I like to play Reach for fun. I hate MLG, campers, armor lock, and team killers because they ruin that fun. Deal with it.

Equipment. Nothing more satisfying than an enemy warthog trying to splatter you, but you end up placing a landmine right in front at the last second lol.

  • 11.01.2011 7:10 PM PDT

Sprint, jetpack as pickup, and evade as pickup are good. Equipment was never good.

  • 11.01.2011 7:18 PM PDT

Halo 3 equipment. required much more skill to use and could be a game changeer. It's not as fun when you don't have to earn it.

Equipment, less retarded ability spam and more reasons to move around the map.

  • 11.01.2011 7:48 PM PDT

Everyone look at me! I got the gravity hammer! You shall worship me as if I were a god!(shot fired, kills me, everyone goes back to fighting each other.)

both, but you should have to pick up AA's like equipment

  • 11.01.2011 8:02 PM PDT

I intend to live forever, or die trying,

so far, so good.

I like both, but Halo Equipment works better, as it gives areas to fight for.

I would like to see REACH with AA as pick up items.

Wonder what they will do for Halo 4.

  • 11.01.2011 8:28 PM PDT

I can hazz moar cR?!?!?!? O.o.... No, seriously, more cR would be appreciated.

I like AA's.....and I don't use armor lock. Hologram is my favorite.

How about make AA pickup?

  • 11.01.2011 8:41 PM PDT

I liked the equipment better.

  • 11.01.2011 8:46 PM PDT

I prefer equipment, but I don't like it. It's too easy to use, too easy to pick up, and impossible to tell whether an opposing player has it or not. Powerups are a different story.

  • 11.01.2011 8:50 PM PDT

Equipment.

Don't remember who said it but most of the AA's benefit you and only you. Equipment at least helped the entire team out.

Halo 3 equipment. required much more skill to use

HAHAHAHAHA

because it takes so much skill to press X for near invincibility/massive shield pop. There's a reason the bubble shield, power drain, and health regen were removed from MLG settings. I believe the exact wording was "too easy to use."
