Subject: High charity correlation with Halo 4 planet.

i was watching the opening cutscene in halo 2 yesterday. it was showing the old halo, then it zoomed in on High Charity. I saw the exact same pronged opening that is on the Halo 4 planet on High charity. it is on the top of the round part of the station. i was just wondering, what do you think of this.

PS: if this is cOLD then i offer my sincere apologies

i was thinking High charity could have been an unfinished forerunner shield world. the cannon never states that the covenant created High Charity

I like to play Reach for fun. I hate MLG, campers, armor lock, and team killers because they ruin that fun. Deal with it.

You don't know anything about the Halo universe do you? High Charity was created by the Covenant, but it's fuel supply was the Forerunner Dreadnaught. And if you had played Halo 3, you would have known that both the Dreadnaught and High Charity were destroyed along with the Ark and Instillation 04B.

Anyone who claims the AR takes skill ought to shoot himself in the head. Preferably with the AR because they'll most likely miss with any other weapon.

Never said that High Charity still existed, it got flood raped. cannon NEVER says the covenant created High charity, just that the Dreadnought powers it. i have played every halo multiple times, and read all of the books.

What? High Charity was destroyed in the level "Cortana", remember?

I intend to live forever, or die trying,

so far, so good.

Was it just a Convenant Crusier,

I don't recall High Charity in Halo 3.

Didn't some one already come out and say it is a forerunner construction she wakes him up for?

After you active the remaining tower in 'The Covenant', There is a slipspace rupture from High Charity. You also had to go find Cortana in it. Along with the Ark and 04B, High Charity was destoryed at the end of Halo 3.

I AM NOT SAYING THE HALO 4 PLANET IS HIGH CHARITY! JUST SAYING THAT HIGH CHARITY IS OF THE SAME MAKE AS THE FORERUNNER PLANET! the only thing i said about High Charity is that is MAY have BEEN a uncompleted forerunner shield world.

Banned just for calling someone retarded? lolBnet mods
Duardo = retard

So you think Reach is an actual Halo game, huh? LOL
Jesus! There's a BoB in ma Falcon!

The canon does actually state that the Covenant built High Charity. lolfail

Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things.

High Charity was a chunk of the prophet homeworld that got tore off when the "rebels" activated the dreadnought. Whether or not the prophet homeworld was or wasn't a shieldworld was not stated. This is, actually, off topic for this forum.

Any source? I don't think it's ever actually stated, only implied.
It is purple, and looks more covenant than forerunner, but OP's theory is quite convincing.

OP is just an idiot. He clearly knows nothing of Halo, High Charity was built around the Forerunner Dreadnaught by the Prophets after their home planet was destroyed when their planet's star went supernova. It states it on Halopedia and in one of the books I think.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Hey there.

Of course the cannon never states that the covenant created High Charity, instead the cannon blows stuff up.

became aware of spell fail immediately after i made this forum.

"From the Covenant's earliest recorded history, the San 'Shyuum ended their civil war by launching the Forerunner Dreadnought from their home planet Janjur Qom, ripping a huge chunk of rock from the planet in the process."
-Halopedia.com

Well, it seems i was wrong. however, i am not an "idiot" in terms of halo. i have read all the books and, obviously, played the games. i simply have never searched High Charity on Halopedia before. sorry for fail forum, but thanks for your comments!

  • 11.05.2011 7:21 PM PDT

one part i forgot to paste from halopedia is, "the chunk of rock was later made into High Charity"

  • 11.05.2011 7:22 PM PDT

OP, High Charity was indeed built by the Covenant, the Prophet's species to be precise. And 343i has already said the Chief is headed to a Forerunner Shield World. So they are not of the same make, as you put it.
