one rocket, no one will fire 2 rockets rapidly like you did in the video unless there is a group of people.

people will only throw one grenade to pull you out of armour lock to kill you and move on, they won't barrage you with grenades like an idiot, they only do that blindly in to rooms which are easily dodge-able without armour lock anyway.

you can EMP and destroy vehicles, well vehicles never last these days, they go as soon as they come unless it's the banshee so no real use here.

armour lock barely even lasts one secound, i've had it go away instantly right when i pressed the button, how the hell is that usefull when you can't move while using armour lock?

Not really much done..

you kidding?
with the old armor lock you could take a rocket, pop right back up and take another rocket.

with this, one would be your limit.
the second rocket would kill you.

big difference in my mind.

not really, sure you cant take as many hits but its still pretty much the same. you can stick someone with a plasma grenade then go into AL, emp someones shields or a vehicle, destroy a vehicle if they crash into you, be invincible for a short period of time. no real big difference if you think about it, the energy just gets drained when you get hit.

yeah but you're immobile. That's a pretty big disadvantage.
It might get you one kill or two but after that you're a sitting duck, no sprint away no jet pack over a wall.

no going invis.

You're just stuck there.

Exactly, someone could easily throw a grenade right before you got out of AL, or ask some friends to come over to surround him, etc.

and that is the way it should be

is the sticky shedding still in? - i dont agree with sticky shedding

Armour Lock defends sure do stoop low :P Altering my Post seriously? I don't see the problem.

Basically AL still reserves all of it's functions but dependant on the intensity of the situation alters the sustainability.

In lame-mans-turns a person cannot sit in Armour Lock for 6 seconds after being shot once. This meaning the pace of gameplay is not altered and Halo is a happier place.
