Once you go Black you never go back!

Hello community. I have just started reading the new Halo novel "Glasslands" and am having mixed feelings so far. It's progressing slowly and goes against what I imagined would happen with ONI and the Sangheilli (which isn't necessarily a bad thing.)

I'd like to know if anyone has completed the book yet and what they think about it.

I like the book. It gets more complicated as you go along.

I definitely do not not like what some of ONI or what some of the Elites are up to, but that doesn't mean I don't like the story. It's told really well.

It's difficult to get into at the beginning because of Traviss' different writing style and it is a little slow at the beginning. But keep reading it for sure and it does get much better.

Pretty much this. She follows a specific style of plot devolopment, where the beginning is used only for introduction and little else. All of her books start off slow, but once they pick up its damn near impossible to set down.

It wasn't that hard to put it down.

Also, remember that we follow perspectives. We can have a different perspective but it's up to us to decide how we really view things.
