Have you ever seen the blast radius of an actual plasma grenade?

the only reason i say this is because SO MANY loyal halo fans are gone... ALMOST ALL vets are gone and don't even play anymore. Not counting the MLG vets because they get payed to play....though i still feel sorry for them.

I think that if 343 does not go back to the core halo gameplay....Halo has on chance at all.

Same -blam!- as battlefield. Hardly exciting.

Except battlefield isn't very fun and looks terrible. Reach isn't fun either. But MW3 is....just saying coming from a Halo vet.

I have to agree as well, I've been playing Halo for 10 years now and since I can't stand Reach and don't find it fun at all, it'll be traded in when MW3 launches.

BF3 has something completely different then MW3, the game just players slower so many gamers will also leave BF3 for MW3 as the game is just amazing. Crazy how VERY LITTLE is changed yet they keep a huge fan base. (Bungie, overlooked that with Reach)

Given the rise of what our military has done lately, I would expect to see MW3 crush all numbers of pre-orders and total sales.

I have never really gotten into many CoD games but MW3 looks like this game could draw me away from Reach totally.

10 years of Halo... I think it's time for a change.

Sadly, only because the game is no longer fun to play. The only games that are decently fun to play are ZB but then you have the retarded radar or player with no mics.

I like to play Reach for fun. I hate MLG, campers, armor lock, and team killers because they ruin that fun. Deal with it.

One of the few forums my work doesn't have watched:) Good thing to be friends with your local IT guy. He'll supply you a list with sites to stay away from.

The reason I know MW games are better, the Activision site and forum is on the Corporate Watch list. LOL

I am one such loyal Halo vet who never plays anymore.

The game is tired and Reach was just the nail in the coffin.

I am a loyal Halo fan who is willing to look past the negative aspects of Reach to continue enjoying it.

ODSTwarrior, please provide your other Gamertag.

If you are a loyal fan you would have thousands of games in Halo 3 and Halo 2.

Hmm played Halo since it came out and still play. Reach wasn't as good as it could be but everybody likes to pretend they're in the military now with "relistic combat" HA, so oh well

Sure, Halo: Reach isn't the best game in the franchise but any Halo Veteran would still play it despite it's bad points.

Here's your sign

I do not think Halo is dead. It was a very good game, but playing anything too much will eventually make it boring. Most "halo vets" have left because of that reason. I definitely look forward to Bungie's next real game.

Please don't hype for games...
They'll just fall short of your expectations and you'll complain for months.

And yet, here, we bash cod for being the exact same thing year after year.

I'm fully aware of this and they do a good job with it
maybe thats why it pisses me off knowing half the people playing CoD are probly under 16 and it sends the wrong message

Reach is a meh Halo game.

But still better than other FPS console games.

Yes. Thats my opinion.

The average gamer is 37 years old and has been playing for 12 years. 82% of gamers are 18 years of age or older.

42% of all players are women and women over 18 years of age are one of the industry's fastest growing demographics.

Today, adult women represent a greater portion of the game-playing population (37%) than boys age 17 or younger (13%).

29% of game players are over the age of 50, an increase from nine percent in 1999.

These stats above reflect a survey done in 2011 based on 1,200 households.

Based on a study by the NPD group, 91% of kids aged from 2-17 play video games.

Blame this on society and the parents who buy video games for their kids and call it a "babysitter."

I haven't bashed it for not changing, only the gamers that don't like that COD series do. The fans of the series will keep buying it. MW2 is still played more than Reach.

Just one of many stories.

And even if they don't use THAT specific game given to them, I'm greatly sure they play CoD as well with their friends.
