I'm 18. So I've grow up with Halo for 10 years. First Halo was Combat Evolved. Like every vet.
I find the games to be fun. But they just get boring now.
Now I'm playing Fallout, Gears of war, Call of Duty, and Battlefield.
Halo: Combat Evolved: I love the campaign. It's still my favorite halo game.
Halo 2: I didn't have live. So I played the campaign. Which was fun.
Halo 3: I got live in 2009. I found that to be vary fun. Like the majority of the community. More then half of my total games played are custom.
Halo 3: ODST: It was fun. But to me it's just a half ass game to make money.
Halo Reach: It's fun. But anybody can tell Bungie didn't try at all making it.
-Campaign barly had a story. The only thing we did that was important. Was retrieving Cortana taking her to the Autumn. And making sure it gets of the fround.
-Hardly anybody had any character development.
-Those of you that read the Fall of Reach novel. I'm sure everyone of you was expecting this massive battle. But we didn't get that. We got this half-ass invasion force. Also Bungie did a failed job. At capturing the battle of Reach.
-Maps are un-creative. Copied areas from the campaign.
-Forge Word: Everything looks the same.
-DLC: The maps are nothing like the quality we got from Halo 2, and 3 DLC maps.
So true I've been playing Halo CE when I was like 7-8 (now 19) but I really enjoyed From Halo CE to Halo 3:ODST
Reach needed more time to be deployed, also it was rushed and clearly the people behind Reach were not very committed to the protect.
I personally think the main motive behind Reach was money.
It did sell more than previous titles, just because of how good they were and how much they hyped this game up from day one.
I think they just tried to pack in an much "casualness" and "CoD like gimmicks" to appeal to a huge audience to make a huge profit.
sometimes people may feel that way. unfortunetly I mostly agree.
