They should turn equipment from Halo 3 into AA's that you pick up on the map but you could only use them twice or some of them once. Like if I picked up drop shield, I'd be replacing my default Sprint for like 2 or 3 drop shields that I can put down. Then when the drop shields have run out, I'd have to find another piece of equipment/AA or do without.

AA's make equipment look stupid. I hate seeing a floating thing in mid air. It makes it more realistic. I don't think anybody is going to understand what I mean and will most likely say "no". It would actually make the game balanced.

Or just dont have AAs or Equipment, thats a much better idea.

I'm in love with Jesus and proud of it!

People would complain about not getting enough uses, etc.

Bring back Halo 3 equipment or keep it plain and simple like in "The Before Times"

That's what I mean, except replace what the equipment looks like before you pick it up and it would have the number of times you can use it over it. And have the same controlls as reach. I think it would make it seem more realistic for some reason.

Equipment was a good idea in my opinion. It's basically a power weapon, and stresses map movement. Probably doesn't stress it as well as the opportunity for a good set up, but I still liked it.

I also probably don't have enough experience with it to form a better opinion.

You're actually right, it's just that most equipment had negative effects on gameplay. The bubble shield is the best example of this.

If they played it right, equipment would be great, but if you ask me, power weapons are a better idea.

What's the deal with milk?

I already decided that if Halo 4 has AA's I'm not getting it. It strays too far from Halo's roots. I even think sprint needs to go.

Sprint has to stay. And I think you know why. It doesn't change gameplay that much. And if you don't want to buy Halo 4 if it has sprint. Good luck finding a FPS that hasn't got sprint.

EDIT: Most FPS have sprint that you can use for like 30 seconds or forever. Halo has like 7 seconds.

I'm not a huge fan of AAs at all, but equipment I enjoyed enough. It atleast encouraged map movement and didn't break gameplay. You couldn't -spawn- with the equipment so it wasn't that big of a deal. It pains me that it is so obvious that some of this stuff is broken as hell and they don't just put some of the broken ones on the map.

Give each base two jetpacks with a minute and a half respawn, give one camo in the middle of the map or one AL. WHOA, simple fix.

I'm perfectly fine with other FPS having sprint, but I liked Halo the way it was. Sprint most certainly does not have to stay. I recently played a game of Halo 3, and the thought of sprinting never crossed my mind. All they need to do is increase movement speed and the problem is solved.

Being able to sprint feels better and is more realistic. I really hope 343 doesn't give the same game as Halo 3 in Halo 4 with improved graphics. Halo 3 was my favourite game ever but I want change and improvements. And sprint is priority. I hate every other AA but sprint, it is expected in a game really.

What part of Halo has ever been about realism, and why start now? Halo had a flawless formula and served as the most competitive game on any console. It is no real coincidence that they changed the formula and now the game is 6th in Xbox Live's top played.

Just integrate Sprint with gameplay (not through AAs, equipment) and remove the equipment and AA BS and I'm a happy person.

But why sacrafice near perfect gameplay that has captivated so many over the years for "realism" and shove everybody away?

Realism in Halo, so far so good, right?

In my opinion they could AA,but they need to change or remove some

Please explain how it "feels better".

Of course there's going to be change. We need new maps, and new weapons, and a new campaign.

And if you actually wanted sprint to be "realistic", which you are pretty adamant about, you'd be able to use it once, and then have to walk slowly the rest of the game. Is that fun?
