MMORPG like World of Warcraft but in space. :3WoW in space = terrible idea.
EVE online seems to be successful. ~400k users is successful for an MMO?
WoW had 11 million, and that was in 2008. I'm sure it's only gone up. I was going to say, "Comparatively, WoW (being the benchmark) is infinitely more successful" until I realized that the basis for all MMOs is almost completely unable to be compared with EVE online.
Plus, I honestly don't want Bungie to make an MMORPG. To be honest, I don't think it would be fitting. They're so well known for thinking outside the box and making an MMORPG is just such a commonplace thing to do and, quite frankly, its a monopolized genre.
Every MMORPG that is made is always compared to World of Warcraft in (almost) its entirety. WoW has such a hold on the genre's market; it's such a figurehead of the genre. Now a days, if you make an MMO, you can only hope to be a runner up, which is not where Bungie belongs in my opinion.
