What'd ya'll think of the side building? To me that's the golden ticket to the first phase of the map. A neutral space that both teams have access to, and the one who controls it decides whether or not the territory gets captured. I'm so glad I thought of that idea. I probably wouldn't have though if ya'll didn't mention the lack of height variance for the other concepts I posted. I wasn't thinking of adding different levels of combat for the first phase until I came up with this design.

I'm gonna keep working and redesigning phase 1 until it's as solid and budget friendly as it can be. Should be running tests on it this weekend.

Yep thanks. I'm really excited to see how it turns out. I know a lot of the more competitive crowd can't stand territory farming, so this 'map control' portion should please them.

What a fantastic theme, and a well executed one as well.
You have captured many of what makes New Mombasa so memorable, like the small bridges which overlook the streets, the varying street levels on every thing from the street curbs to the more starkly contrasting rising parking garages. From the video, my favorite touch is the opening mongoose garage, you found a simple and cheap way to implement them as well as fitting perfectly in the theme.

Do you plan to create a custom gametype with varied loadouts and damage settings that differ from the current MM ones? Something I have always appreciated with Invasion is the small amount of canon relevance that exists there, surely ODSTs could not push back Elite defenders as easily as their Spartan brethren could. I'm assuming not due to the communitie's disliking of such changes.

I'm sure you've heard this a million times, but once more I'd be honored to playtest this map. Although I may be too busy with Skyrim :D

Thanks for the feedback! I do indeed plan on having a custom gametype alongside of the map. There are certain AAs and weapons, such as the Jetpack and Shotgun that would just ruin the map's flow. So I'll be adjusting them accordingly.

And everyone will be forced color black for ODSTs/Brutes :D

Cause I wanted an objective which played at a steady pace Bomb is just rushing on gooses until you get it. Territories is rushing the territory, dying, and then you have so much downtime walking to it again.

with reverse core it encourages you to stay alive as long as you can to escort/transport the core to the drop off point. Taking it into enemy territory instead of out of it brings interesting teamwork and tactics, especially if there's more than one way to the drop off point.

Which is what I'm going to be working on right now. I'm going to draft up a map with more routes than the ones linked in the OP.
