Can you make the game contain less dmrs and more covenant weapons, To make it feel more like the firefight experience I would suggest to give ODST's something different like Lasers and mongooses. Also more assault rifles(silenced smgs) ad pistols in the spawns.
I understand how you have the opening doors and everything from rally point, but I think the elites should attack and when each tier passes the humans have more weapons. Ex: 1st tier- Assault Rifles, pistols, and possibly a weak power weapon. Tier 2- A laser and mongeese(?) While the covenant obtain their own stuff.
I really have some great ideas to tell you but I can't explain them here maybe over XBL

Good news, I think I may have found the design I'm looking for
Phase 1: Assault. Intense, action packed phase trying to arm the bomb to destroy the gate into the city
Phase 2: A single territory to capture a supply cache. Hop in for time or fight for control over an overlooking building
Phase 3: Reverse core. Deliver it to a safe location
Now I just need to design the map on paper. This is good because it allows me to use the Quarry for phase 1. Actually, it can be anywhere on forge world. The quarry will just save me extra budget, but I suppose I can drop it on the canyon, alaska, or the beach
