I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

So I was randomly thinking about what Bungie's next game could be like, and I came up with an idea.

I think the genre will be something along the lines of a first person free roam game, possibly a MMOFPS, RPG, or a MMORPG. I remember a Bungie employee in an interview saying how wonderful it would be to have a game that keeps on going, like a free roam. If you noticed, Bungie experimented with this stuff in ODST when you were on the streets of New Mombassa. They also experimented with different genders and in-campaign character customization in Reach.

Another thing that made me think was what they trademarked. Some of these were Seven Seraphs, Osiris, New Monarchy, and Dead Orbit. I think there were others, too, like FWC. These could be factions for the game. I'll tie this stuff together now.

Bungie's new game could possibly be a Sci-fi faction controlled MMOFPS that takes place in the future. It could take place after the destruction of planetary governments which could have been caused by a Fallout~like nuclear apocalypse, rebels, and/or aliens. The factions mentioned above will be the "governments" that control planets or star systems. The factions fight for territory and complete control of the galaxy, and your character could be the one who makes it happen. Your character (male or female) could grow up on a colony that is out of reach of any of the factions and peacefully exist. When you grow up, you leave your colony in pursuit of a more interesting life, sort of like a Luke Skywalker scenario. You leave your planet and you go about the faction controlled territories. During the game, you can choose which faction to follow and lead to total domination. You could choose it on your own or be influenced to join one. Maybe one factions persuades you to join. Maybe another bribes you. A faction could even destroy your home and compel you to destroy them. Whatever you choose would be your Destiny (title reference).

Keep in mind this is just a theory, and I hope you like it.

It could be. Although, I think it will take the infinite power of [higher being in your religion here] to turn Bungie into a evil MMO company.

I like the idea of an interplanetary 5-way war with 5 different factions (Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, Seven Seraphs, Osiris, Future War Cult [FWC]).

And an open world Massively Multiplayer FPS... oh my god. I would never stop playing.

Good ideas OP I really can't wait. however, can someone explain to me what a "massively multi player" game is? Does Reach fall in that category? Can someone give me an example?

Sort of like Runescape or WoW. Most like Star Wars: The Old Republic. You have a huge open world where the story never ends that hundreds of people play in. Sort of like co-op with hundreds of people. There are servers, though.

A game that usually has dedicated servers with a bunch of people all playing one, long, continuous (live) game. But this would be a shooter like that as opposed to a role playing game. The "Massively Multiplayer" is just because of the fact that a bunch of people are all playing together at once. Much more than Halo's 16-man (maximum) games.

Yeah, who needs discussion, right? Honestly, what do you have against people discussing the new IP? Or speculating about it?

The Halo series was my first and favorite FPS series.
I enjoy most games throughout all systems despite what some people say.

Oh, and on the forums, I tell it like it is, like it or not.

I wouldn't mind a MMO that integrated all the games that Bungie made.

Hmmmmm.....

This is the first in a while . . . But feedback would be nice.

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I saw windmills, so there must be Dutch people.
