A lot of people are asking what this means. It is mentioned in Col. Urban Hollands report on Carter-A259. He is talking about Noble Six and remarks that "Perhaps replacing S-293 with the *1T271from XXX will get him back on track...". Anyways, a lot of people are wondering or coming up with theories of what it may mean. It is equivalent to the US Air Force job code indicating qualification in, and experience in pararescue operations and/or physical qualification for aircrew, parachute, and marine diving duty. Since by 2552 this code would undoubtedly be antiquated or evolved to mean something else more modern or at least still in that field of expertise. I think since Noble 6 was one of the few test pilots for the SABRE pilot program that it is safe to say it refers to his experience and mastering of the YSS-1000 Sabre prototype spaceplane. So I think that sheds light on that question.
