Subject: Why is Marty tweeting about a new bungie employee?

Key

Well, no. I didn't mean REAL hype, just to the extent that it was worth Tweeting about. I'm quite sure they don't tweet every time they hire someone (even if they didn't necessarily tweet, Marty did.)

I thought it was going to be, like, Duardo or a mod or something. Something that'd warrant super hype. Not that Michael Salvatori isn't cool and it makes sense why MARTY tweeted it. I just got way more excited than I should've been.
There was hype? Oh and Duardo; I love you, but I would employee Salvatori over you any day ;P

It's obviously an affiar.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Cool, Bungie's next game is going to have such Epic music, Micheal and Marty side by side, glorious.

I never quite understood the relationship between Marty and Michael. They both did the music, but it was never really clear who was doing what (at least to me anyway.)

Maybe now the collaboration will become more apparent with future Bungie music.

Apparently they were good friends and Michael was always a Bungie contractor for music but never a full employee.

ZOMG a new employee?

Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.

Marty and Michael started TotalAudio and Marty left to join Bungie. Michael stayed with the studio and has been doing contract work for stuff other than Bungie since Marty left.

From what it appears (at least to me) is that Bungie's next project is going to require a large amount of audio expertise, and they'll need the full power of O'Donnell/Salvatori.

"We live in a special time; the only time where we can observationally verify that we live in a very special time" - Lawrence Krauss.

I was a finalist :P

Salvatori eh? Brilliant composer. Glad to see him working for Bungie, continually making awesome music alongside Marty O'Donnell.

I was confused there, but it does make sense that Marty would tweet about Michael Salvatori becoming an employee.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

I jelly because it's not me . . . I don't think I can apply, though . . . Yet.
