yes this is a good game exept you always start off with carbine, why can't you start off with battle rifles instead like you do on team hardcore

Whew! With all the GREAT playlist changes, I'm glad they left custom games alone for all the people who disagree with progression. Heck, for those really disappointed I bet you could delete your Halo 2 files from your hard drive and return to sword flying and enjoy the SMG/Pistol combo.

BUNGIE RULES!

You call taking away all of these options progression?

I could see if they added new maps, or weapons, or even came up with a new game to try out using the same things available. But, for the most part they have just taken away, and offered up rumble rifles full time. There was already plenty of this before in armory, it is just that before one could get a little break and try a new weapon or two once in a while. I would have liked to play this on some different levels than were offered but now I wish they would have just left it alone. Keeping it unranked just helped to keep out the cheaters which was another bonus. Not everyone who plays Halo2 is obsessed with the stupid ranking system. Some people actually play this game for the fun of it. We pay just as much for this service as you overly obsessed people do and should have our say as well.

I say get rid of rumble training, almost everytime I play an objective game there half the people quit anyways. Replace it with armory--let us play on some different larger maps and maybe make it a 10-16 person ffa. If matchmaking can not locate that many people in a specified time, just resort back to smaller maps and start game.

Spend more time on ridding us of modders--not taking away the few gaming options that you have...

Peace

All i can say, is that it is about freakin' time. I think this update will help bring H2 back. Those playlists were brutal. I don't say this much, but..Well done Bungie.

Great. It just seems that Bungie continues to cater to the "Hardcore". Most of the "pro" or best players just play custom games anyway. Something I (and a lot of other people) had hoped to see was a TS Training playlist. Everytime you get an objective game in TT, half the people quit right off. I've seen that request in a lot of forums so I don't think you guys do pay much attention to what we want. It just seems that the only real change you've made is another new playlist for the top tier players. I'm just an average player but I play a lot and the only change that I will really notice is the dropping of Backwash. I do like that. Of course you can't please everybody but I had just hoped us run-of -the-mill guys would get a little love. But it looks like you only care about the elite players.

A bit quick to complain, but I'm not too keen on Rumble Hardcore, some of the games take too long to "start"

Good, Bad, I'm the guy with the gun!

Extremely disappointed in the changes. All you've done is take things away, you haven't added anything. All of the previous playlist updates added something, a new gametype, or an old gametype on a different map, different weapon combos. Now it seems like you have caved into the vocal minority of players who only want BR everything, no duals, no unusal or quarky gametypes. Now you have opened Halo 2 up to be dominated by the trash talking asshats who can only play in gametypes with certain weapons on certain maps. So now Lockout is replacing everything, great, god knows we don't get enough Lockout. Why not just elminate all gametypes, maps, weapon sets that aren't BR slayer Pro on Lockout. That will be great we can turn Halo into Wolfenstien and play Beach Invasion(Lockout Slayer)over and over and over and over and over. For Fukks sake the slayer players already have their lists with Hard Core, Rumble Pit and Team Slayer, why mess up all the other lists with the settings the slayer players prefer. At least you basically left 6v6 and big Team alone so I can still enjoy some variation in gameplay and not Lockout BR slayer constantly. Why are you people so in Love with Lockout anyway? Great map for sure as are most of them. Why focus so much gameplay on 1 map? Stupid if you ask me.

I wonder how all of this bodes for Halo 3? Is this how its going to be from now on? The loudest group of whiners gets the game set up to their liking? Hopefully you don't eliminate options in the future. I'll never understand why you can't just add things instead of taking things away all the time, doesn't make any sense. Not every Halo player trolls the forums looking to get things changed, matter of fact most of like the game the way it is, we like diversity, not the same ole' -blam!- game after game. My two cents.

Signed,
Very disappointed. Flame away BR sluts!

I do not like the BR. My friends (-1) do not like the BR. We are killed in all team training types due to the fact that they are "the faint of heart". I just got my woman playing H2, but she can't get a kill with the BR. She has never played video games, so the thumbstick is still awkward.

The hardcore players do custom games at higher levels. Could you possibly create a tier rating where rifles are used in +25 matches, while the levels below that start with the SMG.
Not everyone playing has the time to devote to forums or halo.

There are still people who suck at halo and want to survive long enough to use their SMG.

i will never understand why people are still so anxious to find out info on halo 3 that they ask.

are they expecting someone at bungie to come out and tell you because you asked nicely?

wow.

wow.

way to go guys.

I am sure bungie, as they have said, will announce halo 3 when the time is right.

why ask?

It's too bad you spent so much time restructuring the play lists and no time removing the trash talking soft and hard modders that have all but distroyed what used to be a fun online experince. Sorry Bungie but you messed up big time. Great playlists are meaningless when standbyers, modders, and bridgers control the games.
