I'm glad they added more trees and cover. Snipers would wreck that map, but it was otherwise brilliant for BTB.

Favorite Mission:
The Silent Cartographer. I just find this mission a lot of fun to play.

Multiplayer Map:
Blood Glutch. I just love messing with the Vehicles with friends.

What part of the game did you like the most of the game and why?
- The Campaign (of course) and also the Music.

Blood Gulch was probably the best to mess with vehicles the one in Reach doesn't do it justice

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

1) The Truth and Reconciliation, AKA the perfect Halo mission. It was fantastic, the atmosphere and ambience created by marty's sublime soundtrack really made it feel right, especially when you're inside the T&R and you really get the feeling that everything around you is alien.

2) Gotta go with Blood Gulch, so simple and yet so brilliant.

3) Campaign > Music > Multiplayer

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

My favorite mission from the game is Halo. It captured everything I love about Halo today: rolling around in a Warthog, wide open spaces leading to epic battles etc. My favorite multiplayer map is Blood Gulch for the same reason. Just a huge open canyon with a base on either side. It's so simple, yet the slightest mistake can lead to disaster or success. The part I loved most about the game is the campaign of course, it made me not only fall in love with Halo's story but fall in love with the shooter genre.

I am a monument to all your sins

1. Assault on the control room. Great scenery, and has a great variation of vehicle and infantry combat.

2. Hang-um high, just a generally fun map.

3. Campaign

1. Assault on the Control Room = greatness.

2. Blood Gulch

3. Campaign

1: Two Betrayals.

It's like AoTCR, but with more advanced combat. Just look at the largest encounter before the last pulse generator, two colliding forces with reinforcements and you looking only to abscond with a banshee in the back. Take it head on, snipe from the back, sneak along the side, wait 'till they're done, balance things, disrupt things; there's strategy to be had here.

2: Damnation, I guess.

3: Campaign, easily.

Assault on the Control Room-There is so much going on in one level. It's amazing.

Timberland-Perfect balance of all styles of play.

All of the above. This game is absolutely amazing in every way.

On second thought, I'm going to have to say Assault on the Control Room is my favorite mission in the game. It has everything that makes Halo fun. It has the close quarter, tight spaces fights. It has the wide open ranges for sniping/long range pistoling. It has the Warthog for us to roll around on, it has the Scorpion for us to blow -blam!- up in. It has great music, a great feel. A perfect mission. 10/10 possibly the best mission in the franchise.

1) AoTCR, because my original exposure was playing this at a friend's house over and over. Best level, though... hmm... I'm gonna go with... hmm. I like the beginning of Truth and Reconciliation, what with the extra sniper ammo, but overall, Two Betrayals. Got a nice mix of everything.

2) Chiron Tl-34 was definitely special... after learning it it's more fun. I kinda liked the one Avalanche was based off of.. ach, the name! Crap. Be right back.
Edit: Sidewinder! Damnit. Awesome sniping map.

3) I never played multiplayer much, it was just me. Thinking back on it though, it's a tie between the cutscenes and music. I've always been something of a music buff, so that's big points there. As for gameplay, the old issue of "linear same old same old" always comes back to haunt you.

Finish the Fight!

1. 343 Guilty Spark - Mainly because it was one of the most memorable moments for me the first time I ever played it. I'll never forget seeing Jenkins video playback then holding my breath waiting to see the giant wave of infection forms come out of nowhere.

2. Blood Gulch - My best multiplayer memories were spent on this level, mainly because of how open and huge it was. To me it provided the best playing space for multplayer at the time.

3. Campaign - First time I played through it still remains to be one of my best moments in gaming. Ever.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

What was your favorite campaign mission and why?
Keyes - Returning to the Truth and Reconciliation, and watching Covenant and Flood destroy each other is something that I can never forget. Especially watching Spec Op Elites and Grunts (Black armor) fighting off dozens after dozens of Flood and perishing in the attempt. Or watching Grunts and shieldless Elites running around with Infection Forms attached to them, screaming in horror, and eventually succumbing to them. The type of stuff that makes games into legends. The atmosphere of the level was the best in the whole game, IMO.

What was your favorite multiplayer map and why?

Most likely Beaver Creek. It was stupid funny playing that map with my brother with only shotguns.

What part of the game did you like the most of the game and why?Campaign.
The magic the whole thing transmitted. The mix with music, the colorful aliens, the blood, the scenery, and the hundreds of different ways you could play the game. It's re playability is legendary, one could never get tired of playing it, and on Legendary, it offered a great challenge. I miss it dearly, and it has been my all time favorite game ever since I first played it, almost 10 years ago.
