The reason is...
343i waited too long to fix Halo: Reach. Ever since MW2, Black Ops, and GoW3, etc, were the main factors that killed Reach's population. Now, 343i(or Bungie, I don't care which) waits the entire year to do something about the Game now.
And most people(or should I say all) know that after MW3 come out...
Reach dies. :(.

And I'm a really big Halo fan Since Halo: CE (Still playing now :P) and now Reach is like Halo's gap in fans.
And the 'Hardcore' Halo Fans are still having hope in Reach (even me.) :)

Anyone who claims the AR takes skill ought to shoot himself in the head. Preferably with the AR because they'll most likely miss with any other weapon.

ok...

343I didn't wait too long. Bungie had to hand all the items down to 343 contracts etc..

Fascinating...

You could get an award for this touching story.

THATS MY COOL MAN I CAN'T TAKE IT OFF!

I love how they're too busy tinkering with armor lock to do anything that actually improves matchmaking. You know, like fixing the broken maps or fixing the broken movement speeds, zero bloom in particular.

I do agree with you.
This whole TU thing is taking way too long. I will be gone to play other games once they actually implement it into MM.

True
But, Bungie said they were done doing that by Bungie Day. Which was July 7, which from now gave 343i almost 5 months. An average Game Developer would've released a Patch/Update by then. And Instead of Bungie/343i focusing on Map Packs back then. They would've at least had something fixed by then.

Banned just for calling someone retarded? lolBnet mods
Duardo = retard

So you think Reach is an actual Halo game, huh? LOL
Jesus! There's a BoB in ma Falcon!

I dont think 343i even wants to fix Reach, because they already got their hands full with Halo CEA and Halo 4.

R.I.P. Halo 2 <33333333

They had to study the thousands lines of code and learn how it all fits together. That is no easy business, my friend.

MW2, and Black Ops are suffering as much as Reach is right now. MW3 won't do anything to the population. GoW3 has an impressive campaign but the multiplayer (with the exception of Horde) isn't really all that good. The reason Anniversary is coming out after all of these games (not including last minute patches) is because it will make people (who care about Halo) shift from these new games to Anniversary. Reach is getting new maps and with those newq maps comes more people.

They are also releasing 2 title updates in November.

My Question would be... Do you Really think that Halo: CEA Would bring most of the population back? (Not assaulting your point.)

I <3 Halo:Reach - amazingly fun and best campaign + amazing Soundtrack
I <3 Halo 3:ODST - best soundtrack + Firefight + Coastal Highway and Mombassa Streets, amazingly unique campaign.
I <3 Halo 3 - best multiplayer levels + Forge + best Custom Games + soundtrack
I <3 Halo 2 - amazing huge fun campaign + soundtrack + Fun multiplayer
I <3 Halo: CE - started it all

WHy would people on Halo:Reach move to MW3? If you are playing Halo:Reach today, you are a Halo fan, not a Call of Duty fan.

And people also have been saying this game was going to die in December 2010. it hasn't. Just stop with at these lame "Reach is going to die once ________ comes out!" -blam!-.

  • 11.06.2011 10:34 AM PDT

The Halo series was my first and favorite FPS series.
I enjoy most games throughout all systems despite what some people say.

Oh, and on the forums, I tell it like it is, like it or not.

343 didn't have the option to fix it earlier.

They couldn't even touch it until Bungie handed it over.

Based on Major Nelson's Reports...
2. Reach couldn't have died on December 2010, it had 700,000 people back then, it was too early.
