I installed the app for droid, and every time I go to authenticate it tells me: There was a problem communicating with the server. Please check your network status and try again.

WAN/LAN is fine, I can browse B.net (full site) under the same LIVE credential set on the phones browser via my wireless network.

My first Bungie Mobile login did occur on my wife's iPhone, during the blue flame extravaganza and all-star debacle. I don't think that would have anything to do with it, but it may.

Any ideas?

Jack of all trades, master of none.

I think you can 'unlink' from a mobile device. It could be that.

Try this, go to your profile, click Edit Profile - Mobile Devices - Remove Device.

Then try it again, it could be a error with you having one device on there as a Iphone, and another as an Android.

I'm not sure if it'll fix it, but you could try and see if it fixes the error.

Also, possibly the Bungie Mobile FAQ can answer your question, you'll have to scroll down to the Android FAQ.

Why did you click the more button? By accident? Reply is at the bottom...
They call me The Precursor

I get this error unless I'm using a 3G connection. It's annoying you can't use WiFi for it.

Shameless Tuesday morning bump.

So, I've released the pairing with the "device" and B.net in my profile settings, I uninstalled and re-installed the app afterwards (just to make sure), deleted the stored certificate/credentials, and tried again...and my Droid still poops on itself when trying to connect via the Bungie app.

There was a problem communicating with the server. Please check your network status and try again.

It is not my network. I have no problem connecting via the browser, and browsing B.net via mobile or full site.

Please help.

I also tried the "PC site" tip in the FAQ to no avail.

Should I just smash the Galaxy-S to bits with a hammer?
