Quit -blam!- stalking me you weirdo.

I believe there needs to be a leaving site notification. Various sites have implemented it, and I think Bungie.net would benefit heavily from it, with all the shock sites that people have linked to on here.

What do you all think?

  • user homepage:

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Please no. I hate those.

Nope. Use your common sense and simply hover over the link before you click on it.

People can disguise hyperlinks easily, and it shouldn't be their fault a shock site was linked to them.

Well, It's not like Twitter were you're only aloud to enter a certain amount of words, so anyone who shortens or disguises there link is a clear give-away. Once again, common sense.

Yes, I agree.

Although, this would encourage people to think about the links, rather than click any link. Also, factor in the accidental clicking. I am sure it has happened to people before on the cena spam walls.

Sorry, but I'd rather hyper links be removed than get linked to meatspin about every month or so, right when you begin to trust links.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I can seen it now:

"you are leaving Bungie.net, are you sure"?

Yes

"are you REALLY sure"

Yes

"forever alone"

Then perhaps a link filter? Similar to the language filter, if a site is recognized to be of a disgusting nature, the link is censored and unclickable.

Good idea... I don't get why people are against it. I see no problem with it.

Don't animals have free will? They are free too make choices as well?

I hope when you see a link that doesn't lead to other bungie.net pages, you realize that it doesn't lead to other bungie.net pages. Talk about redundant redundancy. And you know the risks when you click on a shortened/disguised url.
