When I grow up, I want to be just like goofenhour.
As some of you may know, Bungie recently held a charity event for the Dr. Stanley Stamm Summer Camp. The event was a lot smaller than I expected, but still raised a good amount of money for the charity. They said something like $6,000 in a single night, which will probably admit a lot of kids to the camp. Well, I'm sure you don't want to read all this, so I'll show you some pictures of the stuff for auction.

Really that was about it there that was Bungie related that was for the auction (forgot to get a picture of the Halo 2 Master Chief statue that was up for auction). There was a lot of stuff there that was kind of random that I didn't really expect to be there, I expected a lot more Bungie stuff, such as the old games and limited/signed stuff. But the things ranged from LA fitness 1 year memberships, to sports memorabilia, to Pokemon cards (yes, really). But they did have this awesome setup of Bungie history shown through games and Bungie memorabilia.

Collection of stuff
Well, there was quite a lot of stuff going on. There was a lot of casual talk between the attendees and the Bungie guys, silent auction, and of course some Halo: Reach action between between a little bit of everyone.
There was team slayer action going on, and a Firefight competition to see who could get the most points. First place prize was a Halo: Reach XBOX 360. Second place (which I took) prize was Halo: Reach Lengendary Edition. Third Place was a collection of all the Halo games, and a signed poster.
But when it comes down to it, it really was just a lot of interaction between the fans and the Bungie guys, and all for a good cause. I got to meet a lot of cool guys both fans and Bungie guys alike. I also learned some stuff while I was there.
Harold Ryan apparently was only interested in getting alcoholic beverages at the auction.
Pokemon surprisingly still exists, and people are still interested in buying Pokemon cards.
Killtaculars are easiest to get against Bungie Employee's.
And Urk and I wear the exact same shoes.
