Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

I don't care about this game.
I care about the industry.

Or did you miss that?

If you cared about the industry, you wouldn't be here.

Why is hypocrite spelled with an E at the end?
The I in crite is not pronounce as eye.

So, on the one hand I spell it out exactly as it should be.
You follow the standard set before you by fools who can't even get a handle on the rules of their own language.

I care about the industry.
Even bigger proof of social awkwardness. Caring about something that is intangible and unpredictable.

Then editing a giant wall of text to try to flame me by calling me a loser when, again, you've proven your inability to go anywhere near a cat without flinching.

I don't care if Halo multiplayer caters to tryhards or casuals. I know that I'm not going to join a game and find myself losing and keep playing.

The idea of your idea being better than everyone else's despite you having no evidence to the contrary is even funnier.

Why don't you cure your ailurophobia before you come back with another life check, loser?

I'll be expecting a giant wall of caring from you now. Don't disappoint me.

And what are you except a monkey trying to swing from my nuts crow?....nerd?

No, just telling a bunch of bungie retards where to shove their opinion.

Kid, your the biggest f.aggot on these forums. Please do us all a favor and jump off the largest building near you. Maybe then your parents will finally be happy for the first time since you were conceived.

Making sure you see this. Now I wont read your reply as my gf will be here in 10mins. Yes, a gf, something you will never have.

RC Clone is the anti-thesis of a lurker.

This argument is hilarious. EOS keeps CAPS attacking and fails hard at it.

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

crow = Blah blah blah

"Derp I have nothing better to do than to attack someone on Bungie.net"

"So much so, that I spend all day every day here, just hoping that this MR E0S guy will post so I can add some fun into my life"

Really though. I think it took a grand total of 5 seconds before you bunch of -blam!-s latched on to my nutsack after the first post.

And you know what, The anger in my post of this issue is legit. You people are -blam!- idiots.

You have no business even trying to put an opinion on whether future version of Halo should have join-in-progress features.

Because you're too stupid to realize that you can HAVE BOTH! in the same game even.

What happens when you join a session in progress where the losing team is getting spawn killed?
Spawn locations have always been an issue in Halo games and possible will be into the future, unless a dramatic change to map design is taken.
I don't want to go into the details on spawn trapping mechanics or ethics in this thread. All I will say is that spawn killing has been Halo's way of rewarding map control since 2001.
Posted by: eLantern
The unbalancing of teams is indeed something to fear as I did point out, but that unbalancing as you then pointed out certainly could lead to a real struggle for anyone who joins in late.
Why would anybody want to be in a game that others have already abandoned?
Posted by: eLantern
it would be problematic. I'd love to share the thought I have for that problem, but you or others may not agree with it as it's not 100% traditional Halo and it possibly could cause new issues which have to be thought over.
I doubt I would agree. Not that I am a slave to tradition, but I don't see join in progress ever working in Halo.

  • 11.10.2011 9:03 AM PDT

I want someone to remove this topic just so people don't even start to begin to think that join active session is even remotely a good idea for halo.

R.I.P. Halo 2 <33333333
Do not play halo much anymore. Barely ever come on here.

I do not wanna join a game when it is going to be an instant loss for me and i have no chance of winning. We do not need this, what we need is a better community. I think they should follow Gears and put no "leave game" option in the start menu, so the only way to quit would be to turn off your console or sign out. This might stop some of the mass quitting, but would also suck for only people left in a game when his team quits on him. Think the only solution is a better community, which will never happen, the community is FUBAR.

Maybe if it was optional, but it is pretty pointless. Would you want to join a game where your team is getting spawn killed?

God forbid if each person chooses for themselves instead of going without it across the entire spectrum just because of a few tryhards.

Just making sure you get the message crow.

Lets put it this way, If Halo had a join in progress feature somewhere in there and focused on Custom games instead of "One armed Bandit" for its matchmaking. It'd still be #1.

If 343i were to hypothetically give players the option to join in progress, would you choose that over regular searching? If you joined a team in progress of getting spawn killed, would you stay in? If you joined a game with a thumbless kid and his three guests on your team, would you stay in?
