Hey Guys! im having a bit of trouble with a particular part of T&R. The "belly of the beast" section, where you are transported into the covenant ship. I just cant seem to grasp the onslaught of covenant, in the beggining section. I have completed every other level on legendary, however i just cant seem to top this.....can anyone give me advice on how i can get past this part?

Cheers!!!

use lots of gernades and the sniper rifle alot to snip them before they come in the doors thats all i really can say.

I have an easier way:

First you need a plasma pistol and a human pistol or an assault rifle. When the gold elites come out of the door, use an over charged plasma pistol bolt to knock out their shields (yes one overcharged bolt WILL knock out thier shields) and finish them off with the AR or the pistol. Also, when a door opens, lop a grenade into it kill off some of the covenant and let the marines do the rest. If you don't have any marines, you'll need to multitask, but otherwise, you can let the marines kill the grunts and jackals while you focus mainly on the gold elites. You still need to kill some of the minor covenat if they get too numerous for the marines to handle. Grenades helps a lot during this part. Especially the frags.

One more thing, keep the marines alive, they WILL help you during this part of the level.

If you have any other questions, message me and I'll send you a reply.

There is no human pistol in T&R, at least to my knowledge. But the plamsa pistol tactic is still a very helpful one.

with every door that opens you need to make a big effort to clear out the covenant within it as quickly as you can. every time a door opens throw in a plasma, or if the covenant are numerous, a precious frag, then go in and mop up with the weapon of your choice, id recomend a plasma weapon, and if your low on health rain needles upon their position. if youve got a sniper rifle and your not particularly comfortable using it at close range, tuck it in a nice corner where it can be easily retrieved and sawp it for a p pistol or a needler, fi you rapidly hit the trigger with the plasma pistol you can get a almost higher rate of fire than the plasma rifle. its also helpful to have plenty of caffeine in the bloodstream for this part of the level, and the rest of the level can be similar to this, if less tedious, just fall into a rythm and youll make it

btw theres a health pack in one of the corners if ur in a tight spot

That's right. My plumage is brighter than yours.

Every time enemies come down that lift(or right b4) throw a nade in the middle and fire your assault rifle to hold em back

If you're like me and have practiced throwing plasma grenades to stick on the elites faces, then all you hafta do is stick one to each elite's face as soon as you see it. They will stop and yell when they see you so you gotta be quick. Also you must kill the cloaked elites first there will be three of them altogether. there is a stealth camo thingy where the health lies so after you kill about all you can without dying, get that and start melee all the little -blam!-s. hope it helped ya
