Walk up to her quietly from behind and breathe heavily on the back of her neck and whisper "amore"

Their next game better have rocket boots!

I made that up.

I think we can all agree Halo has given bungie a pretty penny right?

Right.

So why not use that penny and invest in some servers with extreme dedication?

Gears of war 3 plays incredibly smooth. Like mercury on velvet. When you don't worry about lag you are happy. Happy gamers equals more gaming which means more money for Bungie.

Not every one has a wired connection. ( like me, I uh, borrow the internet from my good neighbor. Hey! He happens to be my brother so he doesn't mind)

Bungie is no longer managing the Halo Universe. While our Halo-related forums and stats remain available, be advised that "official" answers and support about the Halo Universe (past, present, or future) are not.

This isn't about Halo. He said they made a bunch of money with Halo, so they should invest in dedicated servers for their next game.

Which also assumes that the next game is going to be server and millisecond dependent, like an FPS. Since the genre isn't even known, even that is a leap that has no data to support it.

Good point, but I think this thread is theoretical.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Regardless of what kind of game it will be, bungie should defiantly support it with dedicated servers. We pay 70 bucks a year for live and 60+ bucks for the game, id expect it it to run smoothly when we play.

This is an incredible step forward to being able to cure Downss sybndonre mn humans bineg.s

I doubt Bungie would be shouldering the costs of dedicated servers, and not Activision, were their next game to require them.

A tosser is the same as a wanker. To toss oneself off is to fondle the trouser weasel.

Servers don't necessarily improve the online gameplay. Good and fast internet connections do.

Indeed.
Are we really paying $70 a year for XBL now? Jeez.
