@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Cryptum and Evolutions

You sure about Cryptum and Contact Harvest? Those two books pretty much contradict each other on the whole Human-Forerunner dynamic. Contact Harvest, written by Bungie lead story writer Joe Staten flat out says forerunners are human and Cryptum of course turns that on it's head. For me those two books don't flow well together unless 343 has chunks of Contact Harvest re-written to fit Cryptum. Even then it turns the basis of the Human-Covenant War into a retarded misunderstanding.

Do not waste your tears, I was not born to watch the world grow dim. Life is not measured in years, but by the deeds of men.

Nope.avi
Harvest says humans are Reclaimers, not Forerunners. There is no contradiction. There was no misunderstanding. The Hierachs found out that humans were Reclaimers from Bias and declared them heathens because they knew that the fact would tear apart their religion.

Re-read the part of the book when Bias confronts the to be prophets. He flat out says that humans are reclaimers and living forerunners; his makers.

~~Chills Pills~~

Cryptum - Primordium - Unannounced Sequel.

First Strike - FoR

Any book that expands the story but doesn't also compromise the integrity and depth that can also be expanded on.

Contact Harvest, because it introduces the setting of the overall/overarching series, and The Fall of Reach because it introduces the main characters and storyline.
