i remember being a sophomore in high school when it came out. None of my friends or i hung out after school that day like we normally would. We all went straight home to play the greatest halo ever. i played campaign for several hours so no one would ruin the story for me before i hoped online. Nerd.
ah 2005, the glory days. HALO 2 was the peak of the HALO series for me, remember in year 7 i would go to my old friends house before and after school for a session of HALO 2: campaign in the morning, mind blowing multiplayer in the afternoon.
finished the campaign more times than i could remember, now that i think of it im suprised it never got boring (got over reaches campaign in a week and a half) HALO 2 has the best music in the series so far IMO
dual pistols... how miss pulling the LB and RB as fast as you can, its a shame not many people appreciated that weapon, the designs for pistols in other games after HALO 2 became sloppy, at least BUNGiE picked up agan in ODST
wish i never took the sword in HALO 2 for granted seeing as it gets worse after the release of each new HALO game.

Can anyone ever remember hating a certain map from Halo 2? I know I can't.neither can i my friend, long live coag, warlock, midship, turf, zanzibar, lockout - you know what, all of HALO 2s maps.
BUNGiE started slipping a bit in 3 with isolation, stand off, orbital and a few others i cant remember the name of but they lost it completely with reaches boardwalk and reflection (thinking of reflection gives me an unpleasant feeling)
the forge remakes where terrible, the area around the bases in hemorrhage should have been bigger, didnt feel like blood gulch.
at least 343i started to pick up on reaches multiplayer by remaking the all time favourite headlong
