Subject: Precursors

Don't wound, what you can't kill.

1. Yes, paragraphs are crap.
2. Much of the information written was simply to clear up confusion. There are many who don't know anything about the Precursors. And much of this was inferred to in Cryptum.
3. It is heavily believed and pointed to that they did create the first strains of Flood as a fail safe, again read Cryptum.
4. Within the book, Bornstellar browses through the Domain and the Didact's memory, and finds that humans received only ONE clear answer, and that was about the Flood, and how to destroy it. The Timeless One told them that they must sacrifice a large part of their population, and create extremely volatile genetic codes, so that when the Flood corrupted their bodies, the virus would die out. Many committed suicide, as a result.

Their structures were built for eternity, and the only thing known to destroy Precursor ruins or artifacts were the Halo's system-destroying power.

How do structures "built for eternity" fall into ruin before - and without - being destroyed by the Halo effect?

Ruins meaning they are abandoned, not actually fell into ruin. It's not perfectly a correct use of the word, but it gets the point across.

Wrong. Usually you would be right, but for the Precursors, its different.

Nerd time.

The Precursors mastered something called neural physics, some form of magic voodoo thing that connect animate, sentient objects with inanimate objects, connecting basically the entire damn universe together. I believe thats what the Precursor used for their structures and stuff.

Hence, when the Halos fired, it destroyed all forms of life... including the Precursor structures that were considered "life" due to some neural physics thing.

Its a very bad way fo explaining it, I'll be the first to admit, but I think that's more or less it. Its explained in Cryptum.

Still using a pump-action shotgun over 500 years in the future I see.

omg not realistic stop game production plz

What are we supposed to be discussing?

The Timeless One didn't give the humans anything in terms of knowledge to fight the Flood. He just told them something so horrific about The Flood that humans were killing themselves left right and centre, to the point where we used a San 'Shyuum time-lock to seal TO in

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

1. Paragraphs.

2. What is the point in re-writing halopedian BS?

3. There is nothing saying they created the flood or any reason to think that.

4.When was it said the TO gave them info to fight the flood?

Your an idiot and if your going to be a no life atleast be knowledgeable about it.

Don't wound, what you can't kill.

Actually, that was really helpful. I was confused as to what neural physics were. You got the point across, anyway.
