Why are you reading my signature? Who actually opens these things and reads them!

And as always, SEND ME A PM. Please. Or really bad things will happen to you.

Now of course I do mean your big threads. Obviously I would never proofread something like this, because it'll take only a few minutes to write (8:10 to whatever the post time is!). So I want to know if you guys proofread and backup your big threads, the threads that make you feel like you're worth something to the community. Like, the multiple paragraph ones. The ones that must members probably skim through because we're all awful at writing interesting articles.

Personally, I use a failed group of mine to house my threads (and prevent any issues of special characters!). This way I can access them from anywhere and make changes without having to then transfer it to all my text creating devices. Also, it allows me to have an archive of my greatest impacts on Bungie history.

So what does the community do?

P.S. I won't directly link to the group but I'm sure it won't be that hard to find

EDIT: My time travel device left me a little jet lagged. Sorry.

Love playing custom games?

Well come join Customs Evolved

I do, for the most part. I've made mistakes. But who hasn't?

  • 11.09.2011 8:21 PM PDT

I never make threads. Ever.

I dare you to find a thread in the last 6 months that was made by me on the mains. Good luck. Because it doesn't exist.

Though i proof read my posts.

Based on how long the post is, the further I go down the list.

Step 1) Free write.
Step 2) Spelling?
Step 3) Grammar?
Step 4) Clarity?
Step 5) Simplify.
Step 6) How others will react.
Step 7) Simplify.
Step 8+) Repeat steps 2-7

Honestly, I usually only get to step 3 at most.

I who walk alone in this world wrapped in the arms of the past not knowing what lies ahead of me. What am I? A soulless being to be beaten by the rage of those who hate me? Cutting my way past hopes and dreams. Sit in the window sill as I do every day and night resignations on my slate of who I am and what is left behind. Concealed in the words that chases my every thought. I who walk alone in this world…I am broken

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I'm worse at typing than your average Reach forum user.

I proofread everything I type, and still miss half of it. I am just a walking failure (though I'm currently sitting).

Hell, you even misspelled your username. I don't get how you butcher the spelling of "Qbix Fangirl 89" THAT badly.

Most know that I'm free writing and that I can, and will make mistakes.

I try to make them as grammatically correct as possible, but don't expect me to micromanage every post I've ever made like it's a school report.

I always proofread everything I post. Just out of habit :)

I find that if I don't pay attention to what I'm typing my subconscious will do almost everything right on its own. However, I made an astronomical amount of typos while writing this because I was using the voice in my head to go over what I wanted to type and getting tripped up because of it. Life is easier if you let the subconscious do its job.

Isn't that a personality disorder?

I <3 you too Bungie

Every once in a while I'll type up a thread in Word or Notepad or something just so I don't accidentally lose it. If I do that, I'll usually proof it. My little ones I'll even read through again to double check myself. I'm kinda obsessive about my grammar though.
