Subject: Do you proofread your threads?

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I sure do. Not that I post threads that often...

Nope. Unless it's a thread detrying mistake.

You know those moments where you wonder if the person is making a joke or legitimately messed up. I'm having one of those right now.

I rarely make threads, but when I do I always proofread them. I also proofread my posts.

I meticulously proofread every single post I make. This is the reason for my flaless spelling and, grammar.

I'm worse at typing than your average Reach forum user.

I proofread everything I type, and still miss half of it. I am just a walking failure (though I'm currently sitting).

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Perfect practice makes perfect. You can't practice poorly and expect it to help you much.

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

My mastery of communicating through typed text is quite less than masterful, if I didn't proofread I couldn't imagine what may appear on this site from me.

Nope I only usually spot the (frequent)errors the instant I hit the submit button

In the past, I haven't proof-read my threads at all, but until now, I do it often to check my message for errors and mistakes.

I have the internet and Doctor Who; i don't need a life.

*steals OP's idea* yeah i do that too OP.

99% of the time i do, but not if it's a couple of sentences or a '[quote*][/quote] + this' post.

The preview button has cost me many a thread because of a page load error. That's why I started exploring other ways of checking if my post was looking the way I wanted it to.

I proofread my posts. Only to make sure that my grammar and spelling is correct so that my posts actually make sense. I don't look like I didn't pay attention in English Class. (I didn't.)

I use a heavily modified version of Duardo's posting tools Userscript, I save large threads to my cookies before hitting preview, or sometimes, actually now that I think about it, a lot of the time I "Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C" before I post, so if I lose it I just paste it down again. Although I do this more on other message boards, due to the script I have on bungie.net

Hell, you even misspelled your username. I don't get how you butcher the spelling of "Qbix Fangirl 89" THAT badly.

Practice makes perfect.

Nobody is perfect. Indeed, practice makes permanent, but perfection is a delusion of a jittery man.

Henceforth, with this in mind, I always attempt to publish only that which I know is a well practiced piece of original literature. That way, proper English will come to me in greater quality and quantity over time of constant utilization.
