Not true...........
Bayonets are still used in the military today.........just not as often............
If your position is ever over run with enemy forces, you may not be in a position to fire your weapon...................so, you used your rifle as a melee weapon and stabb with the bayonet....................
Bayonet fighting is still taught in Army and Marine basic training...............
yes, i know what you mean blackjack, but i didnt mean they dont equip their bayonets. of course they still have their bayonets, and train with them, so they can fight in close quarters. im just saying they dont actually screw the bayonets on their rifles...
