Creating a Universe.

Six days and then you rest. I don't see the problem.

BE HUMAN

Fight for Earth. Fight for Humanity.

In terms of game development. What are they doing in THAT department? Or are they just endorsing games now, like with crimson.

  • 11.10.2011 9:23 AM PDT

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Working (maybe).

I dunno why, but I think they could make a decent RPG :) They've got some of the best writers in the business anyway. Maybe we'll find out, someday...

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

The Black Chapter!

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

Ok, ok, serious answer. Personally, I'm looking at some old ban data from Reach at the moment. There was an article a couple of days ago about the fact that college students tend to be equally likely to cheat regardless of their GPA, so I'm looking to see whether the same thing holds true for Reach players.

And before any of you run amok speculating, this doesn't have anything in particular to do with our next game, just something I'm curious about this week. :)

Do actual psychologists ever use the data from your games? I'm just curious, because it seems like they could help interpret it which would help you build better maps in the future, with science.

How/Where are you getting the GPA data to compare? Or are you using another variable?

Easy; there's an inverse correlation between hours played per week and GPA. Or at least, there was for me back when I was in school :-)

From a personal point of view, I agree with that article. I'll admit it, I've cheated before on a test, but who hasn't in their life? Although, it was only a 10 point test while the overall points for that semester was around 1000. I got a 99.6% in the class because the teacher found out though... =/

This, the valedictorian of my class and the MCs made obvious references to cheating during graduation. Was hilarious. Everyone cheats, some are just better at it.

I'm quite curious about this too. It must be another variable. Rank? Does that make sense?

I feel like that GPA data is possibly misleading. If you think about it, people that are cheating will likely do well on their exams. Thus, their GPA is higher. To maintain that higher GPA they will need to continue to cheat.

Division would likely make more sense than Rank.

We'd likely have to see exactly how the original study was performed to see if they accounted for that or not.
