What are Bungie doing now?
I'm sorry, this is really bothering me.
It's British English.
Organizations are normally referred to in plural because there are multiple divisions and/or people involved in performing activities or strategies. It's based on the idea of collective responsibility - i.e....
"The government are considering raising the motorway speed limit to 80 mph."
The reason why that sentence is correct, when dealing with parliamentary systems, is that while the Transport Secretary may consider the policy, the Government as a whole (the Prime Minister and various other secretaries and ministers) determine the policy.
"Manchester United have scored another goal."
In US English, we'd say Manchester United has scored another goal, because we view the team as a singular unit - players are part of a team.
In British English, the team is made up of the players who are working together. "Those players have scored a goal" is how that sentence would be read if we used pronouns instead of the proper name.
