Subject: When Reach Became Boring

Honestly, if thats what you want then play playlists where you know you arent going to run into smart players. Its not a bad thing that they do smart things in the game.

What you are describing appears to be two ends of the spectrum in fighting style. One run and gun,go,find, kill(or die) for me this style of play results in slightly higher kills than I would get on average, but far more deaths(not fun for me).The other end, what you refer to as a camper uses stategic placement on a map for ability to provide cover, wide area of visibilty and funneling opponents into an area that gives the camper the advantage. This will often result in fewer kills but far less deaths than exposing yourself running around in the open.Success with camping dependes on how smart the opponents are,as in the same person attempts to run thru the same area again and again and again in an attempt to dislodge the camper without adjusting his stategy(like a chump).
Its not that. Its just playing aggressive or passive. Deciding which to do just depends on the situation.
.
Its a game,it takes no guts,it takes stategy depending on your foe.I have a suggestion for you that might be helpful, the MLG playlist has no motion tracker and it is my understanding that this promotes map movement and it seems that is the playstyle you desire.
^I agree and made the same point.

:/ i'm new to the game, only been playing like a month now so everyone seems "smart" to me.

I'm just not willing to run away. takes away any fun I have playing the game, as I've said a few times already.

I like killing someone 1v1 then trying to kill someone else while my shield is down. I rush no matter what, that's just how I like to play.

The game is fun like that, if I wanted to well... nevermind if you'd read my previous posts you'd probably understand what I was talking about so I'm not going to say it again.

I hate the pete repeat thing :P

no need to get all defensive about it.
O.o

I just find the game boring when I have to count 3 minutes for this spawn 1:50 for this one...

I'd like it better if the spawns were random not timed.

And the players skilled not scared.

that's all. :/

forget it... obviously offended someone with this too so heck with it. I'm just gonna go back to -blam!-, that's always fun.

Im not offended.

Staying alive is just as important as getting kills. Getting away is a skill in Halo, its not being scared. Thats like saying its dumb to run from someone who pulls out a knife in a fist fight. You know you're gonna lose, but stay anyway.

ti's a gun fight though, you both have guns....

I get running away from a dmr when you have an AR or a pistol.

or running from snipe when you have rockets. or either of those when you don't.

I just don't get running from strategic ground when you both have the same loadout. why not try to better your 1v1? why not try to take that guy head on and take the spot instead of running around a corner and hoping a teammate will finish him off?

so many times i've out dmr'd people who started shooting me first because I don't scope in. and it was awesome, even though I died right after... well usually :P

I don't see the fun in taking 3 shots and running.
I see the point, believe me I do man. It's not that.
I just don't think it's fun to play like that.

Did that make more sense?

"I like knowing the space between my ears is immeasurable."

Idk I get what everyone is saying though.

Next time I post I guess I'll try to make it more of a discussion instead of just my personal preference to playing the game.

After reading it again it does seem like it's just another thread about an opinion not a valid point.

So sorry for that.

Halo died with Bungie
Bungie died with Halo

Maybe you should just play CoD if you want stupid players.
