Verbose, as usual.

In the group area, if you do

resources > custom > create new entry

It lets you put in a custom colum with a nice title and description. After that, you can label six columns and you have to submit that for processing. Once this has shown up on the page, It lets you put 1,000 characters of text into those columns, in a new row. I want to somehow make the links in there work, right now they just glow yellow when you hover over them with your mouse, and the little text cursor shows up. (the link is un-clickable?) I want to know what this mostly overlooked feature is for, so I can decide if what i'm trying to do is even possible.

Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

It's for..well, anything! If, for example, you had made a chapter that organised tournaments over xbox live, you might create a custom column which listed all previous matches and or up-coming matches. I've seen the custom columns used for "good" mum jokes, insults, Gamertags and so on.

Really, the custom columns are there for any information you want to store which you can't in any other available resource section. If you want to make a link, put it in the links page ;)

For the amount that I've seen custom columns used, and the things they're used for, I don't think making links work is a very important thing on the Bungie things-to-do list.
