Subject: Mark VI Helmet Changes Gameplay?

So from what I just found out today, is that the Mark VI Helmet benefits the DMR...

When you fire a DMR with any helmet other than the Mark VI helmet, the crosshairs expand for a brief amount of time then return to their normal position.

But when you're wearing the Mark VI helmet and shoot a DMR the crosshairs expand and retract faster than when you're wearing any other helmet.

I found this hard to believe until I thought about the players that always seemed to "whoop my ass" in SWAT or a DMR vs DMR battle, were always wearing that helmet!

Now call me crazy, but what is going on here? Is it really true?

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

*Changes helmet*
Thank you for that vital piece of information.

When you need someone who is at least half-decent at Halo, I'm your guy.

You're either first or you're last.

You'll never amount to anything, go back under your bridge.

I wish. I have always worn Mark VI and my DMR still sucks.

Ya, it gave me such a huge advantage that I decided to give it up and be on an even playing field with everyone else. I decided to blindfold myself and play with my feet to even the playing field a little more since I was still steaking kids.

Yes, in fact, I wear the Mark VI strictly for the fact that while I do, I experience no bloom whatsoever.

I heard that Gugnir enhances shields by a tiny fraction, the Scout increases the maximum view distance the Sniper Rifle can zoom, and that Pilot/EVA gives a small amount of extra fuel when using the Jet Pack.

It's not that I'm crazy... It's just that, you're not as far out there as I am.

Armor has zero effect upon gameplay. But previous posters have already pointed this out to you.
