Hello,

I have been trying to post the Euro sign recently, but I get the error "* The text contains extended characters that are not allowed." every time I try to use it. However I can use similar characters such as the Dollar sign ($) or the Pound sign (£).

I am currently using Internet Explorer 9 for 64bit. Has anyone experienced the same problem too?

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

It's one of the banned symbols on Bungie.net.
Meaning, It's not allowed. Don't ask me why, it just is.

A certain line of symbols were removed from use in 2008 or 2009. The Euro symbol was one of them. I don't know why they can't ban certain ones and not the others.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

Well we can use the Generic Currency sign which is used in situations where the correct sign is unavailable. (¤)

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

The Black Chapter!

Clearly Achronos believes in decentralised currency.

Maybe he's just old school and believes that a country should have its own currency? Certainly looking to be a sensible position right about now. Besides, with the way things are going the Euro might not even exist by the time he next updates the site...
