Seems fine as it is.

Most are exemplary members and contributors, they should get more recognition anyways.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

Meh.

If site management wants us to have it, then fine.

If site management wants us to not have it, fine as well.

Everyone may have their own reasons, but the only one(s) that matter are the folks who can enable/disable is in the first place.

I suppose I would be happy with [color] BB code as an alternative.

Equally as constructive as your post. And I realize mine isn't either, before you go responding.

I would like a vast array of BB~ Code options. I'm aware it'll never happen, but...

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I don't really care what color my posts are. It won't really change the way I post. I post what I want to post. If its a "moderator" post, or just me replying with my opinion, the color of my text won't alter what I think, or how I operate.

Sometimes I do think about Recon's old idea where mods can toggle on and off mod mode to differentiate between moderator posts and regular reply posts. Sometimes I find myself wanting something like this. Most of the time though, my apathy persists.

If anything with mod accounts was altered, I'd rather we have purple text.

Though truth be told, Ski has a bit of a point if mods rarely post "moderator" replies. I don't think its enough of a point to warrant a change, but I at least acknowledge that point. Also, I'm rarely quoted, so I at least don't follow with the consensus that altered text is just quote bait.

Well this is constructive.

I came to the conclusion that my silence wasn't sufficiently conveying my indifference. So, I voiced my indifference.

Thanks for feeling that it was worthy of comment.

Well, being a former moderator, what was your feeling on the issue whilst you were among their ranks?

You know better and you know that's not true.

I can't, couldn't and wouldn't anymore speak on behalf of the moderating staff than I could speak on behalf of Bungie.... or you.

I give my own views, my own opinions. I can only hope that you are/were joking when you posted that and I was the only reader who missed the joke.

A long time, actually. He frequents the Septagon quite a bit, too.

Just as Bungie employees are never not seen as "speaking for Bungie", moderators are always "speaking as moderators". In both cases, even when they aren't speaking for anyone but themselves, they are viewed as being "official".
